Such a cute nail polish line! This nail polish dries so quickly and I love how it is non-toxic, as I use it on my toddler. She loves the color and wants me to paint her nails all the time! She is wiggly so it is super nice that it dries so fast!

This polish is awesome! The one I got had no smell at all (Periwinkle Little Star). It goes on smooth and is exactly like regular nail polish. I've gotten childrens polish that's clumpy or gluey and doesnt go on well, but not piggy paint. Its pretty easy to clean off the skin, I used a baby wipe. And what doesnt wipe off will peel away easily. It does chip and come off the nails easily but I feel like that's to be kind of expected, it's a kids polish. It's not supposed to be crazy long lasting. I could definitely see the base coat and top coat helping longevity and will likely end up purchasing those as well since my daughter is 7months and I'll be using this type of polish for awhile. Realistically though, painting tiny finger nails is just for fun and expression so if it last an hour or a week, I'm happy either way. For moms of older girls that want longer lasting polish but dont want to start using regular kinds, maybe skip this and look for 5 or 7 free polishes, or vegan formulas. They have more staying power like typical polish but are less harsh chemical wise. All in all, piggy paint is a must if you want a safe, nontoxic polish for tiny little toes. 10/10

Very pretty color, girls loved it. Chips easily, so if you don’t want that I may choose a different kind. I got three colors and this pink was the best in my opinion

Bought this because I have a daughter now and apparently that means I’m legally obligated to become a tiny salon owner someday. I wanted something safer and low-odor for little ones, and this stuff is adorable. The color is super cute, it dries surprisingly well, and most importantly I’m not worried if tiny fingers immediately end up in someone’s mouth five seconds later. Bonus points because it doesn’t smell like a chemical factory exploded in my house. My baby is still too young to appreciate her future spa days, but I’m fully prepared to be aggressively overbooked for mommy-and-me manicures in the coming years.

This fingernail polish is not worth buying. It doesn’t stay on! I bought this brand for the nontoxic properties as a reward for my daughter breaking her nail biting habit. I ended up having to paint her nails twice in the same day because the polish kept chipping off so quickly. With most other polishes, you might get a bit of chipping here or there at the edges; with the Piggy polish, all of the nail polish would come off at once in a solid sheet. The second time I painted her nails in the afternoon, I put a clear top coat of “real” polish on, hoping that would make it less likely to chip, even though it defeated the purpose of buying this polish. The picture below is how my daughter’s nails looked 12 hours after 2 coats of application, plus a clear topcoat. You be the judge. Thinking her little sister was just too rough and tumble with her hands, my 17-year-old tried a painting test with the polish on one nail while we she was riding in the car. Within 20 minutes, the polish had fallen off her test nail. The only positive I have about this polish is that it doesn’t have that smell that other nail polishes do. On the other hand, since it doesn’t stay on, I’d be better off just putting washable paint on my daughter’s nails, and it would be a lot cheaper.

I decided to try this brand, Piggy Paint, of non/low odor nail polishes, first, as I read many great reviews of it. First, it is not odorless -- and to be fair -- the bottle does read "low odor" -- which I didn't see this when I initially purchased it on Amazon. I had the impression it was completely odorless (I should have read more closely). The smell is mild and not offensive, but there is a smell -- not like a regular nail polish smell, but almost like a plastic smell. This particular color, I think it is called 'LOL,' is like a super hot pink, which I love the color! However it does go on pretty sheer and it's streaky; I definitely needed three coats to get full coverage. I did use recommended Piggy Paint base coat -- which REALLY smells terribly -- like formaldehyde. After the three coats of color, I then also used the top coat; it has sparkles/glitter in it (couldn't find the plain Piggy Paint top coat), so I am not super wild about it , but I wanted to have as long-lasting application as possible since I spent the time to apply basically five layers of product (base coat, 3 color coats, and top coat) AND I did use the hair dryer technique that was recommended as well in applying. I think I got almost about 24 hours in before the nail polish started to chip and peel. I am not sure if it's worth all of the time it took to apply everything, to be honest. But, if you need a nail polish that doesn't smell like regular nail polish, and if you don't mind the time it takes to apply and follow the directions, and if you don't mind that the polish may start chipping essentially the next day after applying it, maybe this will work for you. I am going to try to look into other low odor/non odor brands to see if anything might be a better solution for me. I do love that it's non-toxic, evidently, and I wish I could give more stars, but for the price and time, I think a different solution might be best for me.
