I ordered this for father's day and it was a success. I loved the way they packed it, so good and neat. Everything came in good condition. It's sturdy and of good quality. Quality is a must. I recommend this product.

This has been a hundred times better than I expected it to be. I use it in about every way possible. However--I did get a sliver in my finger the first time I examined it. I simple grabbed a piece of sandpaper and buffed it smooth, then checked and found no other slivers, so all is good. I bought it to use on road trips. My main purpose was to keep the hot sunshine off my legs, yet allow the air conditioning to flow over and under it to reach me. It works great! And it's a thousand times better than trying to use a roadmap, fast food napkin, my hands, or the book I might be reading. Before we left town the first time on an epic road trip I used it around town to see it I liked it because I didn't want to pack something I hated. I discovered the legs open too wide for my seat, so I took 2 pieces of ribbon and cut them so they went from one leg to the next leg and loop around the 2 cross braces. I can use a safety pin to hold the ends in place where they fit best the seat best. The ribbons, not the tray, rests on my legs--one ribbon across my thighs, and the other nearer my knees. Anytime I want I can adjust or remove the ribbons because they are pinned in place. That has worked perfectly, and they hold the tray above my legs and allows for plenty of air circulation. I pinned them where they fit my legs and seat best and leave them there during trips, and take them off at home. I've marked where I like the pins best so I don't have to keep trying to figure out the length each time we travel. Even with the ribbons the legs fold up and stay folded. When the driver brakes or turns sharply, or we are on rough roads, whatever is on the tray doesn't fly off because of the rim--and that's a big bonus because that has included a drink, an open laptop and cell phone a few times, and my makeup a few other times. I made sure I bought a tray that had folding legs and a rim because of travel ease, and how it could fold and be compact. About the color: Yuck. I don't like it. In the car it's light enough to glare, and that is a pain. During our first trip, a thousand miles from home, in desperation I went on the hunt for something in a grocery store and fortunately found a pair of black kitchen towels, and neither my husband nor I had to donate a black t-shirt to solve the problem. I keep one over the top all the time in the car now and it pads my wrists when writing, reading, or when my hands are wresting on it, etc, and keeps the glare off. A bonus was when I discovered while hiking one day I placed the tray on the front seat, and when I returned to the car a few hours later my seat was not smoldering hot. Win! When my husband drives he loves to put down the miles, but he also likes to eat, snack, and have a map handy, and sometimes binoculars and other stuff. I can keep whatever he wants close and not be bothered by it. When we go through a fast food drive through and head out on the road I'm lucky enough to not have to balance my fries and a burger on my lap while hanging onto his fries for him, and it's now easier to eat something using a fork. Home-- After our first major road trip I discovered it was great using it there too as a tray or lap table and for reading. Let's get back to color. I don't like it. It's boring. But since I plan on buying a second tray soon so I don't have to keep hauling one back and forth, I'm okay with the color. I'll just buff the next one with my handy sandpaper and then mask the hinges and attack it with can of white spray paint for home. The car tray will stay the same because I'm not so sure I want to paint it black just to have my husband not see it because it's the same color as the interior and he tosses a suitcase on it and breaks it. As for breaking or falling apart: I've literally put thousands of miles and over a hundred days on it so far and it's held up fine. I use it nearly daily in one way or anther, and it's working great. I haven't spilled water or other drinks on it, but I have left it in a hot car for hours at a time, and it hasn't warped. It's still working great. When this tray breaks, I guarantee I'll repair and/or replace it.

This is a very handy table to have around. And you can feel good about the fact that it is made from bamboo, a renewable material that will probably find its way into more consumer products in the future.The table is more than sturdy enough for you to eat from. It is more than sturdy enough to use as a laptop table for when you want to work from your bed. The table is large enough for those purposes. However, it is not large enough for a seven course meal, but then, you would not normally have that kind of a feast from bed.The legs fold upwards and they will stay in place. The table is surrounded on all four sides, to make sure that what is on top remains on top and not on your blanket. You don't have to worry about your breakfast plate sliding off and decorating your bed sheets with scrambled eggs. Just be careful with tall glasses.How sturdy is this table? More than enough for its intended use. Under normal use, you will break your fast but you will not break this table. How does it look? It looks good enough for casual use but do not expect fine craftsmanship at this price. It will suit the needs of most people. Bamboo is a rugged material and you do not have to worry about moisture ruining the finish. You do not have to worry about scratches. The table looks like it may have a light finish for aesthetic purposes.Highly recommended.

I think I would like it more if the legs were lockable, but for all intents and purposes it works just fine for what i bought it for (plate stability, mobility, security, etc) I think I paid $19 for it when I bought it so I can’t complain about the quality too much but one of the legs splintered a little bit like 2 days into using it and is now scratchy but once I sand it down it’ll be fine. I like the handles and the lip around the edge. I had set out to try to find one of those vintage metal TV trays but this works better probably because it’s thicker and more sturdy.

I don't believe there's anything I don't like about this bed tray table. I recently had surgery and it definitely came in handy. First of all, the wood is very pretty! When I don't use it, I've had flowers sitting on it. Most importantly for me was the weight of it. It was extremely easy for me to grab it with one hand and lift it. The handles on each side helped immensely with this too. Also the size fit well, even while sitting in my recliner. I would recommend it to anyone.

My hubby loves his little table. The legs could be a bit longer but it works well.

Perfect size, great quality. Just be careful cleaning, don't get the legs damp or they will warp and no longer stay up! Had to return one due to wiping it down with a Lysol wipe..... Otherwise, tried and returned a few till I got this more quality wood tray! EDIT: Came back to order another as legs won’t stay up any longer (about a year old). First 2 had to return as spits on one and 2nd had bad splinters. Quality gone way down so 1 more order and giving up if 3rd one is bad! EDIT#2: 3rd, legs won’t stay up! Hint from another reviewer suggested magnets and…Great Idea!!! $4. Fixed it!

El producto es de buena calidad, tiene muy buenos acabados y es muy comoda, por su tamaño tambien resulta practica para almacenar ya que no es muy grande y las patas plegables la hacen muy comoda para servir alimentos no para lap-top, llego a tiempo y en excelente estado, ampliamente recomendable.

Apart from using it for breakfast in bed tray I use it for serving in buffets. It is sturdy and good quality for i’s price
