Starbucks Teavana Masala Chai Tea Verismo Pods, 12 Count

My wife likes these with milk. The reality is I bought these so she'd perhaps warm up to the new Verismo system. I love coffee more than she does, so these chai pods are more for her than me. Anyway, I hoped these would encourage her to interact more with the latest kitchen gadget that I proclaimed could not be lived without. Mission accomplished. She now likes the machine, coffee, Nifty stand/pod holder and these chai pods. Although straight from the tap these chai pods are too sweet for me, but with milk I can see how they might make a tasty chai milk tea or latte. I'd recommend trying them even though I'm a simple fan of copious, fresh strong black coffee.Bottom line is I really like the Verismo system for mainly straight black coffee (espresso and Verona), these chai pods might be a nice distraction from coffee. So while I didn't subtract a star for being too sweet for me (after all they're advertised as sweetened), probably I would enjoy more these chai pods unsweetened. To me it would make more sense to sell "latte" pods with both sugar and milk vs. just milk and then sell unsweetened chai pods. This way people that don't want (or can't have, e.g., diabetics) could enjoy the base product while others can simply season with whatever to taste. Already I drink unsweetened chai tea from a powder (recommend Rani Masala also sold on Amazon), so naturally if unsweetened chai Verismo pods were available, I buy them.

My granddaughter worked her way through college working at Starbucks. After her graduation I was afraid I would not be able to get this tea since she stopped working there. So I went online, and I have ordered and reordered 4 times. Whenever I start getting down to my last box, I immediately reorder. I drive it EVERY morning.

It's a shame I can't find Verismo pods at my local grocery store... Or perhaps it's a good thing for my wallet. The pods, especially this chai gem, are pretty satisfying in terms of flavor and serving size; and they're also extremely convenient. Normally convenience and quality don't pair - well they do here and I'm glad I can make a chai latte at home now!

I was so hoping this would taste like the Chai tea at Starbucks, but it doesn't, even with soy latte foam. It has a very strong fennel flavor. It is not bad, it just didn't taste like I wanted it to! I will stick with Trader Joe's instant.

I paid a for the masala chai tea (which was def on the pricey side but hey I was intrigued to try it!) and received instead the much cheaper brewed coffee! Not ok! I'll receive a refund, but what a headache to return a product and STILL not receive the original product I wanted!

a very nice drink. But I'm knocking off one star since the shipping box seems to have been opened and resealed on the way here and the teavana box was also opened by itself when I opened up the shipping box... which I also found suspicious. however the pods themselves didn't seem to be tampered with at all... so I ended up using them. but, the pods themselves also seem lighter than the ones i get instore from starbuck's? I mean, the pods I get in person from a starbucks nearby tends to have more bang for their buck, being able to fill up a large cup with just one pod. but those pods I ordered on-line wasn't able to fill up a large cup halfway without requiring me to use up two other pods as well? The only reason why I ordered from online was because it was cheaper to do so than to go to a store in person. and now I know why it's so cheap now??
