I expected heavier hardware (that's the trouble with trying to imagine size from pictures), but I have this kit a go, and it has been every bit up to the task. The cables and hardware had absolutely no trouble with the custom sunshade on my south-facing second floor windows all summer. Plus, I had a enough cable & clamps left over to train my swiss cheese monstera plant halfway across the ceiling in my my office. Now the south bedrooms stay cool AND the indoor plant gets to roam a bit. Everybody's happy!

I like the plastic coated stainless steel cable. 304 SS material should not rust but I've only had the cable installed outside for 3 weeks. I didn't use the scewdriver but loved the wrench included for the cable clamps. The turnbuckles make tightness adjustments easy and the carabiners make sun shade attachment fast and easy.

The cable which is pretty thin, and hardware took a lot more pressure than I thought they would -NY looking at them. All in all they worked better on my sail than I expected

As the headline says, “can’t beat the price.” You need several of these pieces of hardware when installing a canopy. Compared to purchasing these items separately or even in prepackaged groups from local hardware store or the Big named stores, it’s considerable amount less. My canopy is a 16‘ x 20‘ triangle. I thought this pkg of hardware was sufficient, but upon trying to tighten the cables through this hardware, I was short like more pieces. It had nothing to do with this order, not realizing everything that I needed to install canopy. Also the bigger Problem was the screws supplied are not very durable when screwing them into and type of wood without 1st pre drilling the hole. (most Facial Board is not hard wood.) I thought I had researched the installation, prior to ordering the hardware. Just a word of caution, research on YouTube installation as well. Bottom line, for under $100 for a really nice sunshade going out our back sliding glass doors is worth the minimal aggravation of the install. Again, this is not a poor or bad product at all but should have far stronger screws.

Very easy to install. Durable. I really like how easy the cable and hooks were to use. I tried finding something like this at Home Depot with no luck.

This kit offered just what I needed to set up and secure a sunscreen sail in the backyard. It is the perfect combination of attachments that was easy to use and secure. Would definitely buy again if I needed to secure another sunshade.
