Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty Super Fly Super Illusions Putty, Mini 2" Tin

I love Crazy Aaron's thinking putty. I have several tins. This is a great American-made product that helps and amuses a lot of people.Like all of the other Super Illusions, Super Fly is soft and pliable - not sticky - right out of the can. The glow in the dark colors (Ion, Aura, etc.) and solid colors tend to be firmer, and require "warming up" in your hands. This is a great green color full of metallic sheen, with highlights of purple, black, and gray. This completes my Super Illusions collection.However...It disappoints me to see negative reviews in which people complain that their putty is melted, "dried out" or ruined. See the attached photo. Putty that looks like this will be fine when peeled out of the can and kneaded. I received a can today that looked exactly like the image in the lower right corner. After a little kneading, it's perfect.As far as the cans being difficult to open, twist it while opening. There's an entire video about this on the company's website.This stuff is great!

Quality is amazing

This product was pricey, which I knew before purchasing. Was hoping for a longer lasting silly putty. Upon receiving the product, I was very disappointed how small the tin was. The tin was almost impossible to open, and the putty was seeping through the metal tin. Once I was finally able to open it, the amount of putty was even more disappointing for $10. I was able to play with the putty for only about a week before it began sticking to anything I left it on and would even stick to my fingers. Then, the last straw was my cat accidentally sat on it on my desk and it knotted and stuck so deep into his hair. It was impossible to remove it without cutting his poor fur. Never buying this product again and sticking with Silly Putty.

The only minus is the amount of product, I wish there was more for the price. But the product is not the same to slime. Moldable and you get more use out of it. Would not recommend for kids smaller than 6 years old. My son makes small balls out of it and loves playing with it.

My kids love playing with putty but this product has a very small amount in the tin. Still fun to play with and cool color.

Crazy Aaron’s in the small size are perfect for my desk when students come in. I wish they sold more varieties in a 4 pack.

This mini-tin is my fav. Aaron's Thinking Putty. It doesn't stick to the tin as much as the others. Love the iridescent green. It's fascinating to stare at, especially when I roll it into a ball.

Brilliant little "adult" silly putty, as I like to refer to it. The color is really great, definitely like an oil slick. Green-purple-coppery look to it, depending on the light. The canister is small, 2 inches across. So it's not a LOT of putty... but for me, it's enough. It is really pretty. I keep it by my desk for times that my hands need to be occupied or that I'm feeling bored/anxious. Happy to own this!
