airmaxxx180 Air Compressor (compact size for 1 gallon or less system)

Started out as an outstanding compressor for my air horns. Lasted 3 months. Filled my 1 gallon tank to 120psi from zero, in about 2 minutes.UPDATE: upgraded my rating to a 3 star. Discovered I had water intrusion inside the pump. The housing is not sealed. The water did not come from the intake. I installed an adapter hose to pull air in from the air cleaner box. I will need to find a dry area under the hood.

Didn't even last a year before the motor burned up. Waste of time and money.

Compact and fills a single mono shock fast on a sportbike motorcycle.

I bought this to replace the compressor on my RV air bag suspension along with a 90 psi on, 110 psi off pressure switch and 40 amp relay to supply the power. When the pressure drops to 90 psi the compressor re-fills the 1.5 gallon tank and turns off in about 40 seconds. Very impressed considering it's small size and it's much more quite than the old compressor.

Works great no problems. I have read some reviews of people having issues with the unit overheating and stopped working after just 2 weeks. I say to those people learn how to run the correct wiring for the application and you will not have issues.

This compressor gave me so many headaches. At first i thought i had messed up my wiring so i rewired twice. Come to find out the compressor had a short inside. One of the long bolt on the casing was making contact with the positive wire inside the compressor. Bad quality assembly. Same thing as other buyers, this is crap ! I wasted many hours and fuses troubleshooting this piece of crap ! And you'll have to pay to return it !!

I use it for a Firestone Air Ride system replacement.

Replaced a Firestone brand compressor when the fill port broke off. This one is the exact size but is 2-psi stronger (and 2 more amps) and half as loud. the CFM is better as well. Glad I chose this one.
