I've been working from home for a year now, and only recently I brought home my work computer (desktop). Because it doesn't have a wifi card in it, it was recommended by our IT guy to get this adapter. I was skeptical at first but got it. It works great, I thought my wifi wasn't going to be stable enough to sustain the connection, but it hasn't let me down. Haven't had the opportunity to use their tech support because I haven't had any problems with it, which is a good thing.

I bought this for my Dad. He said it was fantastic - easy to set up in just a few minutes, and then he had WiFi in his office which is 20 metres from the house, which was just as good as the WiFi in the house.

Je l'ai installée sur un PC de bureau sur lequel j'avais mis une clé Wifi de base. Le changement d'emplacement de ma box m'avait quasiment privé de la connexion Wifi à cet endroit. L'installation de l'antenne a rétabli cette connexion et je ne regrette pas cet achat. Je ne peux que conseiller cette antenne à ceux, qui comme moi, veulent une connexion correcte sur un PC de bureau dépourvu de Wifi à l'origine.

I did a lot of research on WiFi dongles and decided to try this one. The product works great for me. Instructions to get it to work correctly. DO NOT INSERT DONGLE UNTIL DRIVER SOFTWARE IS INSTALLED AND COMPUTER REBOOTED. - install usb driver from included flash drive - when completely installed, reboot the computer (important) Do not insert the dongle yet. - software icon app will be on desktop. Open the app - insert dongle and software will find dongle - follow the included instructions to connect to WiFi. Find the channel that is the 5ghz frequency. You are creating a profile the software will remember. -when done using the dongle, use the “safely remove hardware” icon on task bar -when dongle is safe to remove, remove from usb port -shutdown computer When you want to use the computer again, turn on the computer without the dongle in the usb port. -when computer completely loads, go to desktop and open the software dongle app and wait for it to fully load - now you can insert the dongle - software will find dongle and automatically connect to WiFi from profile you created earlier. ALWAYS “safely remove hardware” to close the dongle, and then remove the dongle before shutting the computer. The dongle should not be left in the usb port when turning on the computer. Lo compré para una CPU vieja que corre con un Windows 7, del que ya no hay actualizaciones. Pensé que el tema drivers iba a ser un problema pero la compu lo reconoció al momento y salí funcionando al instante una vez instalado el software que viene en el embalaje. La conexión es estable y rápida, lo que facilita el trabajo de la vieja CPU que está funcionando en casa como servidor de impresora.
