TruVision Readers9601 Computer Reading Glasses w Blue Light, Anti Reflective, Acrylic Lenses

As an elderly (72) technical writer who is on his third pair of these (either I lose them, break them, or as my vision continues to decline, outlast them), these glasses provide me with razor clarity (at 2.75 magnification) while reading from the screen -- or from anything else. And though there may not be an empirical reason for it, my eyestrain after hours on the computer has been reduced to next to nothing. (Of course there are other causes of computer fatigue than visual ones.) I can't think of a negative thing to say about these glasses. Having them come as a pair is helpful to me, due to the high mortality rate of nearly all the smaller productivity tools I use these days.

Update: One of the pair of 1.50,which is .75 minus to a normal exam result, worked fine for 10 month. In 10 month of careful usage, one of the arms fall off with no way to repair. I wanted to upgrade the review to 4 stars but can't do it for the reliability in 10 month. So, it remains 3-star glasses with the offset of minus .75 approx comparing to the doctor's office exam. 3-star fine glasses with the slight offset lasting from 10 month up to a year. It may be a fine pair of Western designed glasses with the known Chinese quality degraded factory production with the poor quality control, poor craftsmanship and low end materials used in production. If it's made in the USA or a European country with a classic traditional quality control, quality craftsmanship and materials, it could last up to 10 years. Knowing, it's wouldn't be much more expensive in this case like it was just a decade or 1.5 decade ago. No much need to use poor Chinese craftsmanship for the Western market. Doesn't safe anything including the environment.Last Update, Upgrading my review to 4 star. Glasses I ordered a month ago arrived in an excellent condition including cleaning bags. Everything looks new. So, once you find your diopter with these glasses, which can be slightly different from an eye doctor official exam result, it should be fine. 4 star now's because last pair I used regularly lasted 10 month. Basically, an arm fall off after 10 month of a none-offensive normal usage.It might be the tiredness of the material came out, which means they're made of a low quality metalloplastic, Or, I received a well used or factory second pair of glasses year ago. With the pairs I received few weeks ago, I should see its the result with time. Delivery by itself was fast and securely packaged. Thank you!Another update. Used second pair. And, it served very well for a year. In 12 month approx., one of its arm fall off. It's pretty much consistent with the experience with another fine pair of these I'd had. With all of the discussed adjustments in selecting the correct diopter, I could give these 5 star. But, having that issue with the arms falling off in 10 to 12 month, I'd keep it at 4-star experience. By the way, company's customer services seems to improve a lot. Last time I dealt with a lady from their CS(approx. a year ago), she exceeded with her help all expectations I'd had before. Thank you!

Bought 4 pair all are broken except 1 pair in 4 weeks. They break super easy where the screw is at the stem and frame. Other than that they are decent readers.

Update: The seller contacted me and sent me a pair of the grey glasses to correct my order. So I am changing my review to 4 stars for the outstanding customer service. I would give 5 stars but the hinges are a little loose in some of my pairs and they are hard to keep the lenses clean. But since I only need them to read, they are great economical pair of glasses that I can keep a pair in each room for when needed.I ordered a pair of these glasses before in black and grey. I really liked the grey color, so I ordered a second pair in grey and white. I have the original grey pair at work and wanted a second grey pair for at home. Instead they sent me two white pairs.The glasses overall are nice and I am happy with them, but the price might be slightly higher than other similar glasses on Amazon. Although now that I am writing this review I see they went down in price from when I ordered them two days ago. The glasses are all plastic so they are fairly lightweight making them comfortable to wear. They do feel a little delicate so I try to be really gentle with them. Especially the hinge points, so I am gentle opening and closing them. Not sure how they will hold up in the long run, I will update after several months of use. I do like the overall design and they are a little larger than similar glasses on Amazon which I like for my wider face.I cant really say that the slight blue tint does anything, seems more gimmincky but I have never had an issue with staring at a computer screen so that isnt really of concern for me.Overall they are decent glasses which is why I ordered a second pair, but will probably send them back since I didnt get the color that I wanted.

work great and helps with computer glare

Would be fine for a laptop or tablet, but the focus is a bit short for computer glasses, have to be closer than 560mm before they focus properly.
