Stylistics (Cambridge Textbooks in Linguistics)

I'm reading this text for a stylistics course, and I think it is very direct in its description of different methodologies and practices. I may be a biased though as I've already completed sociolinguistics course work, and stylistics and sociolinguistics have similar practices and theoretical perspectives.

I am using this in a graduate linguistics class. The book was sent in a timely manner and arrived in excellent condition. An excellent text on analyzing narratives for linguistic style and discourse.

Very useful, can be used as primary textbook for teaching the subject.

Very easy to read and comprehend and a very useful manual in teaching stylistics/linguistics theory along with translation theory to students.
