Heat Shrink Home Canning Labels Half-pint Jar Combo Pack

These are fantastic. As an avid canner I've been unsatisfied with the common labels that are found in the stores. I stumbled across these and gave them a try. They work perfectly for any half-pint sized commonly shaped jar. They have a nice, classy finished appearance that those sticky labels in the stores don't seem to have. And they are simple to apply to the jar.No, the date feature may not work for dark products, but since you now know this-- don't use these for dark items. Simple! Or you can simply put the date on the front of the label with the product name.These are rather expensive, so putting these on gift jars is my preferred usage. They really dress up the jar.

Be aware that these only go to 2017. I just purchased two packages in May of 2018 and the dates stop at 2017.

Great idea for labels that work on jelly sized jars which are half Pints. Labels stay on very securely and are very easy to apply with no mess or fuss. More work to use than lid labels which i've since switched to because i do alot of jam making.

They look amateur and they bubble up. Do not shrink smoothly.

I make a lot of jams and marmalades and wanted something other than the boring paper labels provided with the Ball jars. These are easy to use, apply and customize. I love the fact that they are made out of organic materials that will biodegrade once they become trash. Good value. Very practical.

These labels are terrific! I used them on my home dehydrated spices that I store in half pint jars.Very easy to use and they look great and I think they will outlast most other labels because it seems that I can wash the jar without any damage to the labels I used a regular marker on the date portion so it came off (marked after shrinking) but the marks in perm. marker didn't. I can think of a million uses for these so I'll be ordering them in all the sizes in large quantities.

The reason these are selling at such a good price is that the pre-printed years end at 2017! I love these labels and they're great quality, but a note that they say 2017 would have been useful. There's room for writing details, so I can easily write 2018 myself, but I was planning to use them for jars that I would give as gifts, and the incorrect date makes them less useful for that. I'm still using them, but wish I hadn't wasted my money.

Love these! They work like the shrink wrap for eggs. Very easy, makes a nice presentation.
