I think this is the best option that I’ve seen. Many are like a yardstick and that just won’t work with larger or even lively fish. I use a kayak that doesn’t have any extra space, and I catch a lot of 20-24” red drum that I release. Without this my neighbors would still think I never catch anything! 😁 Whether it’s a large flounder or drum, the fish is cradled and will rest in the trough while you get a measurement. My only recommendation would be for the company to thicken it up some. It seems thinner than it used to be.

This is very nice to take pictures of your fish you can put your fish on this in your lap and your kayak and just take a picture with your cell phone the only problem with this it's so big it's hard to find a place to put it in your kayak you need to buy a strap to go with it it does not float

This was a gift for my StepSon who was well pleased with it. He had apparently done quite a bit of research before showing affinity for this one.

The shape of the trough makes it easy to lay the fish on it and quickly get measurement. Easy to read and totally simplifies the process. I'll never go fishing without it!

Works great is easy to read and is accurate. Only con I have found after a few weeks is a slight curve of the ruler due to it being plastic and exposed to the Florida heat and sun. Does work well and cradles the fish nicely and is foolproof for clients to use quickly.

I can't believe Hobie would put their logo on this product. Flimsy plastic construction with black painted numbers that will easily scratch off. Looks like something you would find in The Dollar Store.

I ordered this as a gift to my husband. He is very pleased with it. He uses it every trip out fishing in his kayak.

Just ok. Coloring of number came off after first use. Had to mark in with a permanent marker myself. Not kayak friendly. Big and bulky
