I didn't expect much when I got these, but I was wrong. When they first arrived the blade had a bit of gunk from whenever they stained the metal, so I took a wipe and started cleaning it off. I then ran my finger along the blade since most scissors are pretty dull and I got a super clean cut on my finger. So not only very reliable, but very sharp!

I like Stanley's tools in general. I fix a lot of things so I bought all my equipment from them. This pair of scissors is 8 inches long. It was bought for my office. It is ergonomic, pleasant to hold and it is sharp. Oh yes, it definitely cuts so please put it out of reach if you have children. It is made of titanium because it is a light material that is very strong and will last for a while. Moreover, certain material like adhesive do not adhere to it which makes it easier when you cut adhesive ( like when opening amazon parcel). I like the graduation printed on the side, it can be helpful.
