Jag Jeans Women's Peri Straight Petite Jeans

I so wanted to love these jeans! I got the lilac color and absolutely fell in love with it both online and when opening the package.Sadly when trying them on, they were really long and did not fit as petite. I am 5ft 2in and had to roll them up a good 2". I almost went with it because I loved the color so much but they are also a little oddly baggy on my thighs. Being petite, the baggy doesn't really look great on me. It wasn't bad, just not great looking on.If you're closer to 5'4" or above and have really thick thighs, this will probably fit perfect. Otherwise maybe go with another pant. Sad to send this one back.

I'm 5 feet, 100 lbs. I have purchased several Jag Jeans in size 4-Petite. The stretch material fits well although they were a couple of inches too long. I hemmed them; no problem. They wash and wear well and are the best and most comfortable jeans I have been able to find any where.

The jeans seem to be a good quality fabric and I was quite hopeful that I could arrive at just the right fit for me. Usually if "petites" are an option, I can usually get a good fit. I did want the straight leg and these were labeled as such; however, they actually were as wide at the bottom of the leg opening as my Chic jeans that are supposed to be in between a boot cut and a straight leg. Chic calls it a "leaner leg." When I sat down in the Jag jeans, it seemed that the jeans came down too low in the back, or in the seat. I knew I would be uncomfortable having that part of my body exposed. I was expecting the leg opening at the ankles to be narrower than my Chic jeans, and wanted that look, but since they really didn't come out that way and I was uncomfortable with the backside hanging too low, I was not willing to keep them or pay the almost 2 and a half times the price of the Chic brand.

I have purchased the jag jeans from Amazon (3 or 4 pairs in blue and black) I have purchased 12P before and the 12P fit well but my most recent pair is in white and they are very different than the 12p purchased before. That is not to say I am unhappy with them. The same great quality and petite length is good. They will be fine but not the same fit. They are a little mor snug than my others. Different cut, maybe. I recommend them. Also they were delivered promptly on the day they were promised. Jag is a great brand.

Really happy with these jeans. I had a pair 20 pounds ago but those definitely no longer fit. I was really guessing at the sizing, but the 10P worked perfectly. I am especially pleased with the way the legs are shaped. A very nice compromise between skinny and bootleg, and I think they are flattering. The inseam at 29" is also just right (and if it shrinks a half inch with laundering, that will be okay too, since I only wear flats).Unfortunately the comments about a chemical odor are true. And that is a real problem in my book. I have washed the pants once, but they do still have that odor. If I liked them any less well I would return them for this reason. But apparently looks are triumphing over health concerns in this case! I also like the color and the stitching.
