The One Year Devotions for Teens: DEVOS (One Year Books)

Good choice for teen devotional
This book was a gift for a 13 year old girl who was getting baptised/confirmed. I looked through the book and found the passages to be age appropriate and well written for a teen. The gift receiver loved that it was specifically for teens. This book was a replacement for one I had purchased earlier called a teen version but was really an adult version.

Excellent for teenagers
We purchase this book every year for teenagers at our church who are graduating from highschool. Several of them have written to tell us how much they appreciated having it with them at college as it offers good, useful advice and also reminds them of their church family at home.

Devo Book
My son says this book is pretty good. It is easy to read. He said that it would have been more appropriate for him as a home schooled student if there were more applications for kids in his social situation.

My Teen Asked for this
Our daughter received The One Year Devos for Teens 2 when she went to camp last year. She read it faithfully everyday, which inspired me to be as dedicated. This year they didn't get a devos and she mentioned that she wanted this one, so I rushed to order it. She is still dedicated and sometimes we do them as a family. It uses Biblical stories with a modern twist that is relevant to their age.

Decent devo for teens
This devotion has some good subject matter for teens to explore. There seems to be a thread of legalism running through it. Also I feel like it highlights the typical “obvious sins” and zones in on them. However, it does address some good things, so I’ve just been skipping the ones that are like that.

13 Year Old Daughter Loves this Devotioanl
My daughter loves this devotional. She is somewhat picky and thinks some devotionals aimed at teens are cheesy. She really likes this one and like the real life scenarios and questions that are thought provoking to her. She and I have discussed different scriptures and their meanings and applications in life because of this devo. I would highly recommend this one. My daughter is 13 but I think it would be good for 11-18.

My teen loves this book. It came in great condition too!
In this generation, I have found it a bit difficult to encourage teens to love the Lord. This book reaches different personalities. The Word is truly a light for our paths. This book makes it clear.
