I was due for a new yoga mat as I practice every day anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. Over the years I've taken to liking the 1/2" thick mats with the grip lines. They're just easier on the joints (two acl reconstructions and a spinal fusion from T2 to L2) and a plate in my wrist. This mat is great. I like the design and color, the thickness is perfect, no smell AT ALL which is both rare and awesome. I used it today and found it comfortable. I also like the 72" length because I'm about 5'9 so I'm not hanging off the mat. I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years and have my CYT 200 even though I don't teach, and I would highly recommend this mat.

i saw a lot of bad reviews after i had ordered this product so i was a little scared, but it did come with the strap to secure it which i love keeps it all rolled up together, it’s not slippery at all i also saw reviews about that the ribbed design is a bit different to my liking but it’s still very comfortable, it kind of reminds me of memory foam. The color is such a muted pink but so pretty and it’s very lightweight!! it’s definitely worth the money very good quality

Not squeaky, non slip. Much thicker and comfier than a normal yoga mat. Only thing is wearing sneakers on it, it might give you some more squeak. Just wipe down with a wet wipe after class. Keep it in my car. Purple color is perfect- muted yet a statement. Goes with all my clothes/towels.

This Retrospec Solana Yoga Mat is super cushiony and soft, and perfect if you're looking for something with extra thickness. The size was just what I was looking for, and I'm looking forward to using it on my concrete back porch! Comfort level 5 out of 5! I really love the color quality of this, too. I've had several yoga mats in the past, and this one is one of the prettiest blues. The color quality was true to the product description and matched the online images. Unboxing: It was super easy to roll out, and the packaging kept it safe from any damage. Note: Upon opening it, it had that kind fo funky fresh-out-of-the-box smell, but it went away within just a few days.

I’ve been using this mat 4+ days a week for 2.5 months and it is durable and comfortable. I use it for yoga, sculpt, and Pilates. It’s held up during burpees, pushups, and plenty other moves that I half expected would tear the mat, but it’s held up great. It also gets wiped down with a disinfectant after each use. Still like new. Great price too!

The size is bigger than I thought i was very happy to see that its fits all my body its very soft i love it and the quality is great i really love it better than I expected.

Good thickness, good for mobility work. Upon rolling it out first time inside there is already a small torn up bit, probably quality control issue. Minor problem. Still giving it 3 star as have purchased a lot of fitness products on Amazon, have had worst.

Honnêtement, je suis vraiment impressionnée par l’épaisseur de ce tapis! Il est super confortable pour les pieds, les genoux et surtout les mains. C’est beaucoup moins dur sur les poignets pendant les exercices, ce que j’apprécie énormément. Il est aussi vraiment long. Je mesure 5 pieds 4 et j’ai encore beaucoup d’espace, même allongée complètement. Je ne connais pas la longueur exacte, mais il est clairement plus long que les tapis standards. J’adore le fait qu’il vient avec un support pour l’enrouler et une poignée pour le transporter facilement. C’est super pratique pour l’amener avec moi. Pour vrai, je pense que c’est le meilleur tapis de yoga que j’ai acheté de toute ma vie. Je le recommande à 100 %!

Exactly what I was looking for. Recently my pilates studio changed the flooring from carpet to floorboards . This did not suit my body as the exercises were hard on my knees and elbows and back. This mat has made my exercise regime so much more comfortable. 1/2 inch suits best. It rolls easily . Obviously because of thickness it would not fit my usual bag so I had to buy a bigger bag but that is just me

Habe sie vlt 5 mal benutzt, tut was sie soll, ist von beiden Seiten rutschfest aber hinterlässt Spuren wenn man was schweres drauflegt und dort sind dann knicke die auch nichtmehr rausgehen, für mich aber nicht schlimm. Das Band zum Tragen zieht sich zur Mitte der Matte wenn man die Matte zusammengerollt trägt, das kann nerven aber nichts schlimmes.

Comfortable thickness worth the premium

A very comfortable mat if you have sore knees or back. Any postures where knees & back are involved it's great. It is so padded that it is a little more difficult to do balance postures easily on it.
