The Best
I shopped all over the place for a reasonably priced hamper/sorter that was attractive and could be washed. This one has the added bonus of being sturdy, pet friendly and relatively light. It is easy to take the bag off the stand, but also convenient just to fold the whole thing and carry it to the laundry room. The first order I received was missing parts and chipped; but there are really no other products like this available, so I returned it and soon received a new one in perfect condition. I liked it so much I bought another one... and I may buy one more because the item is just really well made and attractive. It is even a good size. It is impossible to cram more than a full load of laundry in either side, so it's always easy to carry (even when it is full) and a glance will tell you when it's time to do the wash.Order fulfillment with this item may be sketchy. My second order was lost in transit; but I'm very pleased with the product. The instructions that come in the box aren't super helpful, so take a good look at the pieces before you assemble them. It's quick to put together, if you understand that the bar that crosses on the outside takes a longer connecting rod on the top and the bottom and the bar that crosses on the inside takes the shorter connecting rods.

One part sent was incorrect.
This is my first purchase ever of "assembly-required furniture" where I have ever gotten the wrong piece and could not assemble the item. The two side crosses come assembled and I got two of the same, so I had to invert one to assemble it and now it wobbles, but once I put the first set of dirty clothes in it, it weights it so there is no more movement. (I didn't want to bother with inquiring whether of not I could get a new piece since I wanted to use it right away, so cannot comment on customer service). The two bags are actually one with a divider in the bag, this works for me since I do darks & whites at the same time almost always, but would've preferred to have two separate bags. There is a drawstring at the top of the bag, but doesn't seem to easily close. There are also thin strings attached for a "handle" I think. Initially I thought a poor design, but if you tie them across the top of the bag it helps close it slightly as well as carry it.One half of a bag is about 2/3 or 3/4 full in the laundry machine for me. It is tricky to pull the bag out of the stand, you have to lift straight up and out, I am tall enough to do it easily (5' 10"), but for petite person this might be an issue; if the bag is full, the weight of the bag may make this difficult for others as well to lift. My stand remains open & in place after removing the bag. The bag seems of good construction.I like it since it was the perfect size stand for the place I wanted to put it and I wanted something to separate darks/whites. Just annoyed about the wrong part.

Nice looking but proprietary
I got this hoping to be able to hang my own laundry backpack in it, instead of the proprietary bag. Well, that sort of works (it folds to the correct size for a standard bag) but isn't ideal because it is better to use just the loops sewn onto the original for hanging. While not perfectly serving my purposes, I'll probably still get another matching one because it is nice looking and seems sturdy enough.

Poorly designed product. Do not buy!
This hamper is so poorly designed it's amazing it got past planning stages. It only functions when the bag is set into the frame, where the four loops on the canvas hold the metal frame in place. When you remove the bag (to perhaps, I don't know, do your laundry?), the frame collapses because there are no bars running perpendicular to the ones running lengthwise. I did not realize this when I bought it because it never occurred to me that something so stupid could be designed for mass consumption. Since it's not that expensive I decided it wasn't worth it to return it after putting it all together so I use it, though I of course keep ANOTHER laundry bag handy for every time that I actually want to do my laundry, so that I can transfer the laundry in this hamper to the bag to bring it to a washing machine. Not to be too repetitive, but I just cannot believe this was designed and produced and is being sold.

Not truly collapsible, machine washable cold but hang to dry
It is sturdy. Color doesn't quite match what's pictured here.Main issues:1) bag does cinch shut but not completely so it's kind of pointless when you have to actually carry it2) it is machine washable (cold water only) so you can't wash it with your clothes if you do that like myself (I mean you could if you wash everything cold but it says hang to dry so you certainly couldn't dry it with them)

Working great!
I had some concerns while I was assembling this that it wouldn't sturdy enough once I started loading it up with laundry. I needn't have worried. It is stable once fully put together and holds up just fine when loaded with laundry. Each side of the hamper holds around one full load of laundry for my front loading washer. This is quite convenient as my previous hamper held one and a half loads. Which let me put off washing until I had to run an incomplete load.Assembly notes:The fame comes disassembled with two upright pieces, and four cross bars. An upright piece is two long bars bolted together in the center. The cross bars have threaded screw holes in the ends. To assemble, bolts are screwed through the upright bars into the ends of the cross bars. The bolts have fitted washers to make them rest properly on the upright bars rounded surface.I tried to assemble this without looking at the instructions. I made the assumption that all of the cross bars were the same length, they are not. This affects how the upright bars are set when assembling. The uprights should be placed such that the inside bars are at the same angle and run parallel to each other.Overall the process of assembling this was fairly easy, with the hard part being putting the second upright on once the first had all of the cross bars attached.

I like it, I don't love it
I like it, I don't love it. It looks good and does what it is supposed to, but when the bag is removed from the frame, the frame collapses. If not for this I might rate this higher
