Vpedal Wireless Transcription Foot Pedal, 3 Function

I was super excited to receive my wireless foot pedal. It arrived promptly and was packaged nicely. Only one problem, it was a USB foot pedal instead of a wireless one. I have to say though, the service I received in reconciling this error was EXCELLENT! The correct foot pedal showed up right away with a postage-paid envelope to return the USB pedal. I couldn't have asked for better service.I would have given this product 5 stars; however, it tends to get stuck at times (doesn't always stop playing when foot is lifted off of play). Overall, it is great to have for when I travel. Set up was quick and is easy and the pedal itself is sturdy. The product does not come with batteries (which I had anticipated), so if you get this foot pedal, invest in some long-lasting batteries and you will be good to go.

I have blown through 2 of these pedals. The first one lasted maybe a year, the second maybe six months. I do not recommend at all for dedicated transcription work. Something in the dongle wears out.

Although I could not use this product after it arrived in a timely manner Brian at Transcription Tools was so helpful, even calling me to try and help get it downloaded. Unfortunately it was not compatible with the software program I use to do medical transcription work. Brian immediately sent me a return label to return the pedal and promptly refunded my money. I would definitely order from him again if the need arises!!

I probably would not buy this product again. I too wanted something without cords. 1) I really do not like the toggle that hangs down, it should be just a little USB that does not hardly stick out of the computer. 2) After a while not long the toggle started acting like it was not hooked up to the computer well. I had to move it to a certain position to have it play and then sometimes it did not play then. 3) It also gets stuck like the communications is not good between the toggle and the pedal. 4) Uses way to many batteries. 7) It is unreliable.The next time I buy it will be the cheaper cord one instead of the cordless

No issues with this product. It does exactly what it says it does.

I bought this because I didn't want so many cords across my desk. At first, I liked this pedal. As long as the infrared USB dongle was not hidden behind stuff, it worked without any obvious delay. After a while, I started having problems with it freezing up, and I would have to pick it up, open the battery compartment and turn the switch to off and then back on. Sometimes pulling out the dongle and plugging it back in would fix the problem. At some point, a little plastic piece inside broke and then I could not use it at all and had to go back to my corded footpedal, which is much more reliable. Possibly the plastic piece broke because I was packing up my computer and pedal monthly or so to take to our house in the mountains. If I had kept in in one place, it might not have broken. However, I still did have the problem of having to turn it off and on frequently when it froze up.
