A classic story for all ages. In the summer of 1963, innocent 17-year-old Baby (Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskill's resort. One evening, she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny, the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby soon becomes Johnny's pupil in dance and love. Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

the disc came in in a timely manner and it was wonderful in 4 k,I loved it it looked and played great!! The seller packed quite well and when I played it I couldn’t believe how good it looked.Needless to say I’m a happy camper!Thank you great seller!!!

Showing a new generation an iconic movie
My daughter is taking a ballroom dancing class and the instructor gave the class a list of dance movies to watch and "Dirty Dancing" was on the list. I explained to her all the significant points of the movie in relation to the time period it was set in and how life in America was undergoing a drastic change at that time.I also told her about the actors, and also how Patrick Swayze was born to play this role as his mother was a dancer and choreographer.My daughter really enjoyed both the dancing and the storyline. I loved watching an old favorite with my daughter!

Wow, until now, I never saw his like/love for her as well as their chemistry. It made the movie so much more wonderful.

This is a great movie, the only thing I don't like is the foul language. There are about 3 or 4 times where someone curses the name of the LORD, which I personally don't appreciate. I gave 4 stars because of the language. Otherwise, great movie!!
