I love the way this piece looks. Fits my brush great although my shavette looks a bit odd in it it still works. The only drawback is that if you don't wipe down any water off of the base before you put the bowl back on it will leave red water stains from the metal touching each other. Other than that I like it

The base plate was not properly coated after the logo was etched. The logo began rusting within a month of use. The logo etched in the shaving bowl has no problem and shows no discoloration. Overall this would have been a nice set if it didn't rust.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I have wanted an all-in-one stand that holds my shaving bowl, brush and razor, not only for simplicity and esthetics, but functionally it works great! I love that the brush when drying off can drip into the shave bowl instead of on the counter or another spot creating a mess. The quality of the metal used and build is excellent! Its not too large so that it doesn't take up a lot of space, which is great for those of us with very limited counter space in the bathroom to begin with. My only issue is where the razor base rests is a little small, I have a larger handle at the bottom and so it doesn't fit, but it still holds the razor, albeit on the ring above the base. Not a major issue or even an issue for most, but worth mentioning if you're someone who needs things to fit perfectly. I received this product at a discounted rate for an honest review.

This is beautiful! I ordered for my husband and he thinks it is great. Much more attractive than his previous shaving bowl and the stand set up is brilliant. If the brush is going to drip it drips into the bowl. It was much heavier than I expected, so it stays put and that is great. The bowl is a separate piece and fits great in his hand. I bought this stand to replace a ceramic shave mug and a clear plastic brush and razor stand. The stand takes up less room on my vanity than my previous set up and the brush looks really cool sitting the way it does on the stand. The razor holder leaves the sharp side of your razor, should you leave your blades in, sticking up but so do most stands and the razor is well displayed too. What I don't love is that the razor stand blocks the soap dish so that it cannot sit centered on the stand like the picture shows; you have to have it off to the left a bit. No a big enough deal for me to return the stand but worth mentioning. Also the bowl is a thin steel and is much lighter than my ceramic mug. I will probably keep two different soaps now, one in this and one in the mug because I like the mug better enough to not get rid of it.

I decided to try using a brush and shaving soap instead of shaving cream. This chrome set is functional, nice looking and easy to clean. My shaving brush fits nicely, as does the shaving soap. Considering this is the first time I've ever tried shaving like this, I couldn't be more pleased.
