VicTsing HM024A Essential Oil Diffuser, Deep Brown

I bought this only for fragrancing my house, not for anything therapeutic. I use it in the living room which is about 300 sq feet. I use both essential oils and fragrance oils. Before I bought this, I was using a simple oil burner that holds a tea candle.This diffuser is big, about double the size I expected. Word of advice: don't open it up when it's running.What I like about it: It looks cute. It's easy to maintain. I like that it's a sonic diffuser that doesn't use heat or require candles. It works well, shuts off when it's empty or the timer is done.Helpful Info: It hums a bit. You can also hear the water splashing. I find it functions better and creates good mist when I clean it often, like every other day. I think that this diffuser is perfect for smaller spaces. If you have a medium to large area, this just doesn't seem like it would fill it with fragrance.What I don't like about it: I have to use much more oils in this to get the same scent power and projection as when using the tiny tea candle oil burner. This may just be how it is with sonic diffusers, it's my first one. It takes a while to fill my small living room with scent, and it takes even longer for the scent to travel to the kitchen, front room and upstairs. When using the tea candle oil burner, the scent was more powerful and made it all the way to the upstairs pretty quickly. I end up using 15 drops of oil per fill.Also, it came to me cracked at the top. That was upsetting. BUT - the company emailed me and offered to ship me another one at no cost, which was really great service. I declined, because the crack doesn't effect functionality, but I like that they reached out to me. And in fact, they did send a replacement unit even though I declined. It works as well as the first one, and did not arrive cracked. However after the first use spout is now cracked in two places.Overall I prefer this to the burner, it's cleaner and runs for hours without me needing to add water, change out candles, or clean up spots from all the sputtering that oil burners do. I've been addicted to candles for years, and I'm trying to break the habit but still have an awesome smelling home. This diffuser is perfect for that.

Works great, really easy to use! Love the look and that it starts the moment you turn it on. Added 4 drops of oil and my whole living room and dining room smells amazing (also have an oscillating fan moving air around)! Very quiet, too! One of my favorite Amazon purchases.

I have used multiple diffusers over the years and honestly they have pretty much all been the same.They all have the same functions and do the job as it is quite a simple function.This item is no different in that regard.That being said, for whatever reason, this item has a high pitched buzzing noise that starts whenever it is turned on.I thought at first that this was due to the outlet it was plugged into but after trying multiple different outlets and different configurations, the sound has persisted.By the time I realized that this was a problem, the return window had already passed.Due to my worry of a fire or something going wrong, I have opted to throw the device away immediately since a return isn't possible.I may have just had a bad unit but be sure to check yours out as soon as you get it!

I love this so much that I went ahead and bought another bigger one (500 ml) from the same brand.A few points to make... the first time you use it, it takes a while for it to emit a significant amount of steam (must be a start up first use thing), so just wait a bit. Second, start off with 9-12 drops of oil and increase from there if you feel as if the scent isn’t strong enough. Adding too much oil can give you a headache or even make you feel nauseous.Also, the clear piece that goes in the top part of the diffuser broke off for me after washing it with soap and water on the 3rd day. It doesn’t snap back into place but it doesn’t matter when you put it back on the base together.This is a good for a small room, but I wanted something to cover the living room, dining room and kitchen spaces which is why I went ahead and purchased the larger one.

There are so many types of diffusers out there! Yikes. After a Target brand broke after a year, I found this one here on Amazon. It's got a larger water capacity, works beautifully - completely silent, no gurgling sounds - and it's really thoughtfully designed. I know, these are very basic machines. But the little things they put into this model - like even the ability to just use the light effects without running the diffuser - really make it top shelf. And it's incredibly inexpensive! Nice color varieties, too. I bought the light wood finish. It arrived this morning, and I've already ordered two more, one for a friend and the other (now the dark/black wood finish, which looks really handsome) for me. Like I said above, "Love it!"

A warning for you light sleepers, it does beep when it shuts off! I have not found that you can stop it from doing this. For me, I find the sound comforting when it is running, and I sleep heavy enough that the beep isn't an issue. I also find the the aroma is not that noticeable unless I am right next to it. I am using it in my bedroom, which is rather big, so maybe in a smaller room it would be more noticeable. I like how simple it is to clean and fill, and it looks nice on my nightstand. Love the colors too! Not sorry I purchased, and find I look forward to bedtime a little more :)
