Q: Will this work with 2008 328xi manual transmission?

I am not sure if it will work on the E90 platform , as I bought it for the E46. I found that the stiffness of polyurethane, being one hard block, and having no give in the center line makes it rigid, and the vibrations are transmitted to the body of the vehicle, giving it a stiff feel. This item is probably more suited for a tract car, where the rigidity is more desirable, than a road car where smoothness and comfort is desired . I will try hewing out the center of the mounts , to make them as close to the OEM as possible, so giving them enough play to absorb the vibrations of the transmission, and not convey that vibration to the body of the vehicle. When I have done so, I will post the outcome of that experiment.
