Wood edge already chipped bad as was gift cheap, you knowthat gift you got me already chipped what cheap gift . played 50 year old adult - already chipped edge view pictures still usable its just frustrating stuff damages 5 mins after purchase wouldn't buy again , got wood because hoping be more durable yeah right

It is a bit early to tell as I have only used them once. but this appears to be very similar to the Diller paddles. Both are good for beginners and with both it seems like you'll have to be a bit careful not to hit the ground because they are wood and will chip easily. I purchased a set of each brand so I can compare them, but both will probably acceptable. I do like that this set provides the Jugs balls, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor. These paddles were delivered in a timely manner. Everything is as expected.

Exactly what I was looking for... I will be ordering another set. The only issue was that I ordered my set with 4 outdoor balls and instead I revived 2 outdoor and 2 indoor. This doesn't impact my product opinion but it does impact the order experience overall. I already have indoor balls and was excited that I could specify outdoor so it was disappointing. The paddles are great and they have a nice price point for my family to have a chance to learn this run and competitive game!

The paddles are sturdy and of good 7 ply laminate quality.The handles are grippy and nicely wrapped. I would have given 5 stars, but the edges of the paddles are quite sharp. I swung at a ball close to the ground (smooth concrete) and it chipped the laminate layer. Was able to wood glue and clamp and nicely sand all edges so they won't be sharp and less likely to grab and chip if in contact with ground. Made in USA, nice!

Two things that were unclear to me at the time of purchase: This package of paddles and balls is made in China and the colors of the design will vary.This is an OK starter set, but everywhere I have played so far, everyone has the honeycomb/composite paddles. There is a beginner Selkirk set that is honeycomb and for an extra $20 is a pretty significant upgrade, and it is made in the USA.

These paddles and balls work great. So many pickleball paddles are ridiculously overpriced. These were a great price and have help up well. After almost a year of use, one paddle did end up becoming loose from the handle, but with some electrical tape it has continued to hold just fine. Because of that, these probably aren't the high quality paddles that some people who take the game more seriously may want, but if you just play recreationally, these paddles are a great bargain and work well.

This set worked very well for us. Everything is as described and seems a good value for the money. This is the only pickleball set we've used, so I have nothing to compare it to. All in all, I'm very satisfied with it.

I was not sure what I was purchasing and found out that this set comes with indoor whiffle balls and we are in need of outdoor whiffle balls they have smaller holes in them so that will be another purchase....but as a starter set it is very good....we are new to this sport with lots to learn.
