Bought this to replace my stock antenna simply for aesthetics, this one was about 3 inches shorter and I wanted that.Sadly once I didn't install this antenna most reception for the radio ceased. This thing gets horrible reception which makes it useless.Do not buy, horrible reception.

With this product you definitely get what you pay for.. When I received it the to pieces aluminum that hold the carbon fiber together via threaded rod in between Were separated and when I tried to thread it back in the aluminum cap was stripped and is unable to thread in Past 1 or 2 turns... Also the adapters that come with it did not fit my truck which is a 2001 ram 1500 and when I took a closer look 3 out of the 5 adapters have the same threading...I dont use the radio so I dont need it to work ..I got it so no one can use my antenna to break into my car

The idea is great but mine did not have an adapter to fit my 2012 Ram pickup truck. It's a common truck so with the amount of adapters you get, one should have fit....but no. 2nd issue was customer service. No return email(s) and their online chat is always offline. Easier to return the item. Sad part is it costs me $3.33 to return the item for an $8 item. Who wins out on that deal....

This looks absolutely fabulous on my 2014 GMC Terrain . The original factory antenna got horribly bent due to a shifting car cover in the wind. This one has some lead in it! It comes with 5 screw adapters and a couple of spacers/washers so the most difficult thing about the installation is figuring out which one(s) you need . Don't throw out your old antenna until you match up the threads on the new one. Enjoy!

The look was great. Tired of my outdated long antenna. As soon as I screwed it in and turned on my car I heard static. Dissapointing. I live in the city where there should not be a problem picking up a local station. Imagine if I was driving threw P.A. Im sure I would not receive any reception at all.
