The First Thing to REALLY help with my Anxiety!
I used to use the lemon balm tea a couple years ago from a different company. I was looking for something to help with test anxiety I was having at work. We do weekly testing and I just couldn't seem to "calm" down enough to focus. I did some research on this company's website and they have good reviews and on some of their other products also which I'd like to try. This stuff made me remember what I was missing. I have ALWAYS had a generalized level of anxiety, everyday, for no reason, but I have lived with it for so long, refusing to EVER take any type of medication because I don't like the idea of doing drugs to regulate something that isn't "life threatening" and I haven't had a panic attack in years so I figured I was "ok". Well, I have to say after taking just one, within 15-20 min I just felt "calm" or "normal". I haven't felt that feeling of just, calm awareness in years. Not numb, not a druggy feeling like you'd get from Benadryl for example, and not sleepy, which is important. I didn't actually experience any drowsiness with this product. I just felt like I could think more clearly without the physical uneasiness that has plagued me for years. I am in my 30s and I thought I was doing "good enough" without the panic attacks. But I am at a point in my life where that's just not acceptable anymore. I want to feel comfortable in social situations, I want to be able to sit face to face with my supervisor without my thoughts running in a million different directions before I realized, they asked me a question but I was too busy obsessing over how I would answer the question that I missed the question! My life and social mishaps can very well be summed up by the number of "Awkward Penguin" quotes. I can deal with my Introversion, but what I can't deal with is feeling like I am not taking chances, even the small ones. Meeting new people, and feeling "okay". Not like a different person. I am never going to be "life of the party" girl and that is OK. I just want to calm down enough to embrace ME. Me, only better. I don't feel numb or sad or spacey or any of that weird stuff. It's almost like, that little anxiety switch just turned down. I mean, it's been a couple years since I bought the tea and while I am thinking of investing in that also just to have it, these capsules are just really convenient and easy to take right before a meeting with your boss, or test or you just don't have time to brew time when you're flying out the door in the morning. I will definitely be repurchasing. It says to take 1 a day at first to assess your tolerance level before starting with 2. They are 500mg per capsule. I have taken 2 and felt fine but again, I have a pretty generalized anxiety level, it's not caused by particular "stressors" although it can definitely flare up and get worse but my anxiety is pretty much on a daily. Honestly, I didn't even realize how bad it was until I starting taking these. It's been about a week, I believe and I noticed the results pretty much immediately. Like I said everyone's tolerance level will be different. I can't really speak for depression, all I can say is my depression is off and on and most definitely the result of my anxiety, without the uneasiness inside, my depression usually subsides because I am not anxious and stressed about little things which is, well, depressing! I purchased this with my own hard earned money, I am leery about purchasing products with mostly Sponsored reviews. The question really comes down to, not just whether or not you would recommend something but would you buy it again? I would. I do like to write and I find myself able to concentrate enough now to entertain the idea of starting back again. There are parts of me I was just dismissing because I was so anxious about the future I couldn't enjoy the moment in front of me. The bottle does claim that it "May support focus, concentration and mood" I will definitely agree with this. I was in a bad slump, it's hard when you know you can do better and feel better but there's something inside you, that keeps letting you get in your own way, if that makes any sense? I have been telling everybody about this. This is the first brand of supplements I have tried for Lemon Balm Extract, I am told that Lemon Balm "Extract" is specifically what you want to look for as far as efficiency. I couldn't be more than happy with a product. I tried some other things on Amazon for concentration and mood and overall well being some of them had side effects, like I would get kind of sad? This is just easy, breezy, calm in a bottle for me.

A Mild Chill
Started taking this after a lot of research. I'm in the technology field and often give consultative presentations to large groups w/Q&A sessions. Always get a touch of the butterflies prior to a presentation. Colleagues take benzos to aid in their public speaking endeavors. I wanted to avoid taking any form of benzos (xanax, valium, etc.) Choosing the "holistic" approach, my path led me to Lemon Balm along with some other supplements (ashwaghanda, magnesium, etc). I can honestly say that these work. Not heavily sedating, but really take the edge of and gives me a "mild chill". I relax ever so slightly with no brain fog and can go about my business as usual. Good stuff. Side note: I am in no way, shape or form affiliated with this company. I paid full price and believe these are worth every penny. Cheers and stay healthy and safe.

For Daytime Anxiety:☺ ; For Insomnia: ☹
Great for daytime test anxiety, general nervousness without causing drowsiness. However, I cannot recommend these for help with nighttime sleeplessness (body was relaxed, but mind was wide awake...all night.

Amazed.
I have tried everything to help my sleep without resorting to pharmaceuticals (which I do use on occasion, out of desperation). I figured this would be just one more failed try, but hoping against hope... And it actually allows me to sleep! I typically wake up during the night and with this, I can go back to sleep and get a full night's rest. I am amazed and grateful to have found it. It does take a little while to kick in for me, so I plan to try it as a tea and see if there is more rapid absorption that way but I am not complaining.

So far, so good!
Ok, I've tried everything "natural" for my insomnia! You name it, I've tried it and so far nothing has worked. I won't do prescriptions and all the natural things I've tried just don't do a thing. Then I tried this one.. it actually has allowed me to sleep better and fall asleep sooner! I still wake up in the middle of the night, but fall right back asleep and actually feel more refreshed in the morning! I hope it continues to work for me.... so far I'm extremely impressed and plan on buying more.

Didn't help for sleep
Used on regular basis along with Passion Flower for sleep. Didn't cause a calm feeling or sleepiness. Didn't do anything. Tossed and turned all night. Don't bother.

Great for ADD & reading, but...
Feel like a zombie even the next day. Calm and focused on reading. Can get a lot of reading done in fact, but do not feel like moving. A little too chill, even with coffee. I only took one each time I've experienced this (over a few different days). About to give up on this supplement. Perhaps I'll try 1/2 the capsule and order a much smaller dosed brand next time (mg/capsule). Oh and I had a nightmare after taking this. Might just throw it away. Update: I realized all stimulants that have extra nitrogen (this too?) make me feel like a lazy, lethargic zombie. Guess what? Antidepressants and caffeine are high in nitrogen too. Chocolate has caffeine too. I've decided to try to quit all that and maybe my adult ADD, RLS, brain fog, adult acne and hypertension will go away! (I read that caffeine increases shortness of breath from increasing high blood pressure-probably from the nitrogen).
