It is really heavy-duty rope!
I ordered this product by mistake, as I thought that two special handles were included, which I might use for other applications. But it is just the rope only.The military grade rope for 300 ld., just made for camera 7R3 or 5D4? It is really an overkill! Nevertheless, I may need this heavy-duty rope later.

Poor quality - started to corrode after 2 dives
This product is not designed for the intended underwater use. After just one day of diving (and having rinsed off the equipment afterwards) the metal fixtures started to corrode. After a week, one of the clips became impossible to open and use. Product needs to be made from the right kind of stainless steel for its intended underwater use.

Tough!
High quality and durable, as expected from such a well known brand.What I really like are the shackles that come with it. A very nice compliment to this very useful housing handle.

Cord color is black not red as pictured. Minus two stars. Good quality looking hardware.

Not recommended and Not reliable
Got rusty after a few of dives and the screw on the right side fixure part fell off by itself right after a boat dive. Not reliable. Both seafrogs ring light and this failed together this month after 5 month’s purchase:/ Wondering if this is a reliable brand…

Looks great, significant corrosion and rust after first use
Love the red color, but that's all this has going for it. After use in saltwater (followed by fresh water rinse) the boltsnaps showed corrosion and are very sticky to operate. The screwheads on the shackles also show rust.While advertised as an underwater camera accessorie, this is not meant to be in the water.That said, the rope handle is great for handing the camera up from the water. I just need to find a better one.

Poor Quality
I'm very diligent about finding my gear after dives, but the clips started corroding after just a few dives and are very difficult to open for clipping/unclipping. Going to buy another from a reputable underwater photo store like Backscatter where I got my housing.
