A Great Puchase
This machete is an excellent value. I’m impressed by its packaging: a sturdy box and the entire blade, from hilt to tip, wrapped in plastic. I find the handle especially good to grip, firm, comfortable. I could use both hands if I wanted. Both the blade and saw are well sharpened. Fine balance. Extremely glad I bought this.

This is a bad ass machete.

Machete Amazing. Case not that good
The machete performs amazingly well. Smooth sharp cuts. A little heavier than some others but the longer length is good for the bush. Saw is heavy duty. The case is not that strong. The machete tip opens the seam threads! I will need to take to a shoemaker to get it repaired.

Awesome!! A++
This machete is awesome! My only complaint is the grip is square shape, so after about half an hour of hacking at brush, your hands start hurting. It would be good if they would make the handle round, instead of square. Comes razor shark, and looks like a freaking cool sword!! A++ all around!

It's good for light duty
I bought this to thin down some back yard growth that I could then tackle with power tools. Out of the box it was reasonably sharp. It's definitely menacing in appearance. It had no problem with cutting through what I needed it too. Most of which was 2" or less soft stalk weeds. After reading reviews of broken blades and chips, I knew I wouldn't try it on anything with bark on it. All in all it works for me and my purposes. I wouldn't take it on any sort of rainforest adventure though.

Please trust me when I say do not buy this machete
In order to save you the trouble of reading this detailed review. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHETE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE OF TRYING IT FOR YOURSELF. Honestly it is sad that this product was brought to market. First I will preface this review with several points. I have handled machetes since I was about 12 years old (maybe not the wisest choice of my parents but I grew up on over a hundred acres of mainly pine forest, was taught how to properly handle the tool, and never injured myself with a machete). Using a machete, I have cut and sawed small pines and hardwoods (up to about four inches in thickness), brush, vines, and thicket. ( I use chain saws for "real" trees.) I am currently 28 years old and recently purchased a 5 acres home for my wife and I of which 3 acres is wooded. Because I wish to efficiently and effectively keep the undergrowth to a minimum, I researched and purchased five machetes to see which one(s) worked the best for a machete's intended purchase - cutting small vegetation. (One machete met my needs and I will keep another as an okay backup. Scroll to the very bottom for the names of these two machetes which are on Amazon.) For what it's worth, I am an Eagle Scout who started as a Tiger Cub when I was in 1st grade or whenever I was of age to join. In Scouts, my troop went of camping trips once a month besides summer. (It gets too hot in southeastern North Carolina. That said, machetes were never used at any time during my scouting experience.) Also, this is the first review I have ever posted for any product and I have been a very regular buyer on Amazon and tons of other sites. This machete was so inadequate, I felt the need to inform other potential customers of its incredibly poor design with the hope of saving them time and money. I would also like to point out that I am not connected to any outdoor products/companies and would therefore not benefit from writing a negative review of this machete or any outdoor equipment. Now to finally get into the important part of my review of this machete - the SZCO Supplies 25" Black Full-Tang Saw Back Cyber Outdoor Machete with Sheath. 1: Right out of the box I noticed the handle is not ergonomic as it is rectangular/boxy and cannot fit comfortably in a hand although the handle profile made to look like it would fit well. 2: The back of the blade, which is intended to be used as a saw, has teeth cut in such a way that renders it pretty useless for cutting even small vegetation (tall grass or thicket may be fine but why would I bother tested that at this point?) and does not continue far enough up the blade for a long enough sawing stroke to be efficient by utilizing a person's larger range of motion. My smallest complaint is the angle/shape of the blade tip. The end of the blade curves back in such a way that makes the tip more pointed than any machete I have used. This makes the blade thinner/weaker and more prone to breaking, especially if used to pry things (which you should not do with most blades or arguably any blade). If you still are considering this machete (you should not be), the aspects I found to be good were the sturdiness/build quality, the knuckle guard (the metal bump where the blade and handle meet that helps keep your fingers from being banged up), and the sharpness of the blade. However acceptable these three things are, the part that connects you to the machete - the handle - which provides the force to cut and saw makes all other possible good things about this machete pretty pointless. I hope and trust that this review will be helpful in preventing anyone who finds this write-up from purchasing this sad machete. Part of me wants the company to rethink the design while another part of me wants this company to no longer exist for producing a simply sad product that does not work well. Out of the five machetes I purchased, the one that was the best a cutting vegetation was the CRKT Halfachance Fixed Blade Parang Machete. The end of the blade is thicker and has more weight for better chopping. (My only experience with CRKT goes back to when I was 14 years old and I went on a 10-day, ~120 mile backpacking trip in New Mexico. For that trip, I purchased my first nice knife which was a CRKT. I still have the knife after 14 years and am still fond of it.) My backup choice is the 18,5 Inch Serrated blade Machete with Nylon Sheath - Saw Blade Machetes with Non-Slip Rubber Handle. This machete has a saw on the back of the blade (which actually works) so if you are looking for that feature, I would consider this one. Happy chopping!

i enjoyed this i would use it to clear out brush around my place and it worked wonders

The blade came in rather dull, and the grip gets slippery when wet! This thing has endured chopping trees though, very durable.

Sheath was split open for time putting blade in.

The machete itself is spectacular, and enough to even cut through bamboo stocks, however, the sheathe is so poorly designed (for the the saw-blade/backside of the blade) that it cuts the sheathe open. Now, I'm not just a complainer, so I'll give you a solution: Add more rivets on the other side to prevent this from happening to other consumers, otherwise, I will make sure nobody ever buys from you again. :) Cheers!
