It's falling apart!
I love this series! The art and characters are simply fantastic. That said, I'm not even through the first 30 pages and the thing is coming apart. The binding SUCKS! And it's really small, not quite manga size, but smaller than a regular comic.I know it's a great read, having once had all the individual issues, but I really think it's a bad product. I would NOT recommend buying it unless you're okay with your books falling apart and the smaller-than-normal size of the pages.Bummer. I was really excited when I ordered it.

Very ugly but
Humorous material.Art and story worthy of an Eisner award!Reminiscent of "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" for some reason incomprehensible to me. Perhaps it's the writing with a British accent. No idea.

This reminded me of almost a Hellblazer parody mixed with something like Hack/Slash. The main character is a corpse possessed by sentient maggot draws trouble from hellish/ interdemensional creatures and has to find ways to overcome them with his companion. Fun read, but not something that you'd feel compelled to have to read in one sitting. That being said it is good for a laugh and I did enjoy the art style and the obsurdity of it!

Great literature, awful physical book
My review has nothing to do with the story itself but with the poor binding of the book. the book feel to pieces after reading 10 pages. I now have a splintered ghost of a book instead of one I was proud to have on my bookshelf.Sorry to Ben Templesmith, please keep doing what you're doing! Love me some Wormwood.
