Yummy Yammy Mexican Medium Better-Than-Salsa, Better-Than-Hummus with Roasted Sweet Potato, Black Bean, Corn & Chipotle - 3 Jars - Best for Nachos, Eggs, Burgers, Burritos, Rice Bowl

I was originally afraid that I wouldn't like this product. I am not a fan of trying new foods. However, after it was recommended by several friends, particularly friends who were also on diets, I couldn't resist.The texture is not what I would expect for a salsa, in fact, the only thing that "resembles" salsa is the wonderful zing that goes with it. I have used it with vegetables mostly, because my diet doesn't permit much in the way of chips.Since this is NOT available by Prime, I want to mention that the extra cost of shipping was worth it to me, since I ended up enjoying it so much.

I'm not really into hot stuff, so I ordered the medium version. I should have ordered the hot after tasting the medium. It was more sweet than medium. For 10 bucks per bottle, I think this should be an Organic product which it's not. The taste for me was ok, but more like something I might put on top of a hotdog like relish or chili...not so much a salsa....I'm sorry but at this price and the fact that you have to order 3 at a time, I don't believe I will order this product again. Again I hope I don't turn anyone off from trying because we all have different taste buds and it does not taste bad.

I really like this, but I when I bought this I also bought the Tuscan Sweet Potato Salsa and I LOVE the Tuscan. It was my favorite between the two. If I had only bought the Mexican I would probably give it 5 stars, but after the Tuscan I felt like I had to rate the Tuscan Salsa higher than the Mexican. But really, they are both tasty! And I love the low cal, low carb count! (Unless you eat the entire jar in one sitting, which would be so easy to do!)

We thought we'd give this a try. My husband loves sweet potatoes but I usually don't go for them. Wow! This stuff is fantastic. My husband loves it, I love it and my 12 year old loves it. My 9 year old didn't try it but he rarely tries anything new. Even though I am typically not a sweet potato fan, I loved this stuff. It doesn't taste like sweet potatoes at all. It has just a perfect amount of zip. We used it with tortilla chips. I'm not sure exactly how to describe the flavor. It is very savory...full of flavors. I would definitely recommend it!

Wow what a punch of flavor, this has a bit of spice to it so the kids didn't really like it but they ate up all the curry, lentil and kale one no problem. So my wife and I added this to our spaghetti squash for dinner tonight and it was amazing !! Great flavor, packs a nutritious, SUPER FOOD punch. And being a vegetarian loving the fact that it has no soy, gluten, eggs, or wheat, and no nuts but the nuts part is not a big deal for me. It makes me very happy to finally find a trusting brand that the whole family loves and it tastes good.

As a lover of sweet potatoes, I was excited to see that someone had the genius to bottle and sell a sweet potato salsa. After reading all the mouthwatering reviews, I decided to buy my own jar.Well, I must say that this is oh so yummy. So far I have tried it on my breakfast egg burrito and also on my homemade black bean burrito. Good both ways. Will see what other combinations I can come up with.Looking forward to trying the other flavors.

Our family ordered all three available brands of Yummy Yammy to give them a try. True to its label- this is very mexican flavored. We loved it with corn chips and on top of our tacos. There is a bit of a kick to the medium- so if you're super sensitive go with the mild. The medium was just right for me- and knowing my spice tolerance, I'm guessing the hot might be out of my league. But- I bet the flavor would still be awesome!!! Really, Really impressed. I want to order some for my next party.

Tried these and loved them - who would have thought that Sweet Potato = salsa!??! But it is really interesting and delicious! I actually got a jar of the Mexican, Moroccan, and Tuscan. Haven't tried the Moroccan yet so that review is pending. I really loved the Tuscan, but the Mexican is really good as well - in fact I think this Mexican one might be a great "introduction" to those who are skeptics since it has many of the flavors of traditional salsa. Try it!!!!
