A great DIY project , enjoyed putting it together. The time given for the assembly is not accurate it did take a lot longer.

I saw one of these in a shop when I was visiting NYC and thought my wife would like it. Little did I know that every item has to be constructed. The instructions are detailed, but vague, but once you get the gist of it they flow. I’ve got big hands so I put together a few pieces of furniture and left the smaller stuff for my wife. As much as she cursed during the building process, I believe that every time she finished one of the items in the kit she was pretty impressed. It’s 95% finished as of writing this review and it’s actually pretty awesome! I wish I could shrink down and walk around in the little shop. The big thing is that you can make it your own. I’d recommend building the three main walls first cause it’s more rewarding filling the space as you go through and build the furniture and accessories.

The walls were a little difficult to stand and stabilize. This kit took about four days, maybe 8 hours each, to assemble. I did not want to cope with installing the light - might do this one day when I do not have anything else to do! What a cheerful-looking kit! So colorful! Very glad glue was included! I skipped using wires under the 2 awnings, the wires were not necessary for support.

This kit took months to complete. It’s the fourth kit I’ve completed and it’s been my favorite hobby since Covid hit. This one was was extremely tedious (all the fruit!) but I enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend these kits if you have an eye for detail and a lot of patience!

I really had a fun time building this one, but it's definitely not as easy as it looks! Some of the parts look like they're the same shape in both directions but are NOT, so I installed one window sideways and one wall backwards, I didn't think it would matter in the final assembly but it definitelly did & I had to adjust around my errors! On the other hand, it was really interesting & fun to learn how to make all the cat toys & furniture, I'm hanging on to the instructions because I will definitely want to make similar ones for future dollhouses! I didn't love having to paint so many of the parts, especially because the paint they include doesn't bond well to plastic & some of the tiny wooden parts are hard to punch out without breaking them, even after adding paint. I wound up just using acrylic paint from my own stash toward the end, I didn't like the paint they include (the colors are good, just not the quality).I made some changes so mine doesn't look exactly like the photo; I hate making plants so I just skipped most of them, and I didn't like the signs & wall art that it came with so I made my own portraits of famous cartoon cats. The wallpaper & flooring was really cute though, and they had a very interesting innovative way to make three-dimensional grass! It comes with a good-size plastic tree that's meant to go in back, but without leaves it looks so much like the Poltergeist tree that I had to poach it for another build!
