Applies and Writes On Nicely, but Can't Fully Erase
It applies nicely and looks good once up. Liquid chalk writes on it very nicely, but I couldn't erase it. The chalk just smeared around on it when I went to wipe it off with a damp cloth. Then I tried soap and water to the same effect. Lastly I tried an ammonia-based cleaner like suggested, and while slightly more effective, still heavy ghosting. I haven't tried old-fashioned chalk with it yet, maybe that would be better for erasing. I had to remove my initial sheet due to the ghosting. After I removed it from the wall it took speckles of paint off with it, which was a bummer. I do have flat paint on my walls though, which may have been the reason for that.

Easy to install, easy to use!
I bought this, expecting that it would not work - or look - as nice as a real chalkboard or chalkboard paint....but I was wrong. It works perfectly with regular chalk, wipes off cleanly, and looks nice. It's easy to install - just be patient and follow the directions - and peels off cleanly. There's a lot on one roll, especially for the reasonable price. We're happy!

goes on wall well but chaulk color wont come off
The chalk board went onto the wall easily and looked and held great but when used the pen it came with it was awful and the color would not come off and even when using regular kids chalk it the writing never fully comes off.

This is a great product! Can use in so many different ways
This is a great product! Can use in so many different ways! We put these in the glass of picture frames to make chalk board frames for my daughter's smore's bar she had for her bday party! They turned out great! Very easy to cut, and easy to use!!!

Nice for a couple days but don't leave the writing any longer
This is good if you erase it in a day or so but I use it to keep a monthly schedule of surgeries and after cleaning and scrubbing it I'm still stuck in January.

My kids love these!
I didn't have high hopes when I ordered the first roll. I was concerned the chalk markers would not erase completely. No problems at all! We ordered a second roll.

Good product
Exactly what I was looking for. Smooth surface. Great black coverage for canvas or stiff paper to use for painting.
