Great!
Wore these for a long trail run and they worked great. They even absorbed a lot of the mud/wetness so my socks/bottom of my pants weren’t soaked. They are very easy to get on, comfortable, and stayed put through some tough terrain. Highly recommend.

Good value for the price
It works really well protecting the shoe from filling with sand and dirt during trail running. However, sometimes the strap goes off and it takes some time to put it back again. I think the lock mechanism can be improved.

Close...
I liked the way they slip around my sneakers. They cover very nicely! However, the strap should have been a little longer and they should have had velcro or something to lock it in place. The locking mechanism only works so-so and it comes undone once in a while.

Held up to a severe beating
I ran a 12 hour race wearing these gaiters and when the event was done, you could barely tell I even wore them. They did a remarkable job of keeping the sand and gravel out of my socks and shoes. I had to swim 2 miles during the race and normally I am have to pull my shoes off and dump the debris out when I get out of the water but not this year, this year I never even had to change socks! Well worth the investment.

Well made prevents sand from getting into shoe
I'm going to begin by saying why I purchased them. I have a size 10 shoe that I'm using to play sand volleyball in the winter. I wanted something that would help prevent as much sand as possible from getting inside my shoe. The material that the gaiter is made of is sturdy and fits around the shoe nicely and grips the back of the shoe and clips onto the lacing easily and stays. I got a very small amount of sand in the shoe but overall it performed nicely. I've only used them once but for now I strongly recommend them

Major design flaw
I never leave product reviews but I was so unhappy with my experience using these gators I feel compelled to share. I received these last week and immediately set put them to use on a strenuous 15 mile hike over two mountain peaks. They look good and fit well, hooking right onto my trail runners, but I realized the issue with them very quickly after setting out on my hike. The plastic clasps that secure the strap that goes under the foot are not tight enough and no matter what I did I could not keep the straps clipped. Minutes after stopping to reattach the strap I would look down to see it dragging alongside. This causes the gators to fall out of place, sometimes disconnecting the forward clip. After a while I got sick of trying to keep them strapped so I just tucked it in until the end of my hike. I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

Yes, the straps are a bit short
I read the reviews about the straps being too short, and they are hard to buckle under my hiking boots. However, it is nice that there isn't any extra strap sticking out, so perhaps it is worth the pain. They came undone the first couple of times, so I learned that I just need to squeeze the buckle real HARD and they they stay on fine.

Design could be improved
The straps that pass underneath your hiking boots don't seem long enough, or at least for my low-top boots. Also the strap seems too wide at the top to feed through the clamp easily, and the clamps don't always stay clamped. Knowing what I know now, I would choose another brand.

little bit small but perfect for dust or shallow snow
Trail boot gaiters have become an indispensable part of my outdoor gear kit, and I can't imagine hitting the trails without them. These rugged and weather-resistant gaiters provide a layer of protection that is particularly valuable in challenging terrain. They effectively keep out dirt, rocks, snow, and moisture, preventing them from entering my hiking boots and causing discomfort or blisters during long hikes. I've found that the durable materials and reinforced straps of these gaiters hold up exceptionally well against the rigors of the trail, even in harsh conditions. What I appreciate most about trail boot gaiters is how they enhance my overall hiking experience. Not only do they keep my feet and lower legs dry and comfortable, but they also provide an added layer of warmth in colder weather. They are easy to put on and take off, thanks to the adjustable straps and secure closures. Moreover, the added confidence in knowing that my footwear is protected from the elements allows me to explore more diverse and challenging terrains without hesitation. In summary, trail boot gaiters are a practical and highly effective piece of gear that any serious hiker or outdoor enthusiast should consider adding to their arsenal for an enhanced and worry-free trail experience.

Cute but strap is short in length
I really love the feel, colour of these. They are just perfect for over sneakers in summer I think but they may be tight for some to get over the ankle as there is not much of an opening and I agree with others that the strap is short...I haven't actually tried them on the trail yet....it's for summer. I'll get the strap lengthened if needs be.

Great for trail running
I read other reviews saying the strap was too short but I thought it was the perfect length for my trail runners (size 9.5 women’s). Any longer and the strap would be flapping around.

Strap for boot poorly designed
The shoe cover part performs as expected however unfortunately the buckle that attached under the boot unclips itself so I found myself constantly fixing it. Not worth it in my opinion. I wish they had one like a belt loop buckle like outdoor research instead of a clasp

The quality of the cover looks great.
I do like the look and feel of the cover. I plan to use it for a Croatia trip in April.
