Cool gadget from Nerf's Spy-girls dart gun line; transforming pocket blaster clocked at 51 FPS average.
This is the transformer of Nerf guns. It would have been cool as an Elite blaster, and it shoots Elite darts (blue, green, or decorated Rebelle darts) comparably to the Elite Jolt: a respectable 51 FPS (Feet Per Second) as measured by my ProChrono Digital chronograph. As expected from such a tiny low-volume plunger tube. It gets occasional shots in the 40 FPS range, but also in the 60 FPS range, so consistency is not it's strong point here, but it is cool to play around with. From gun mode, the pink buttons on the sides of the handle allow you to swing and fold the back of the blaster over the front while the tiny handle grip slides back, allowing the folded rear and front barrel to fit in place next to the handle grip like a puzzle piece. Presto, it is now in disguised and concealable form. It is actually faster to reverse this process back to gun mode by pressing the buttons and swinging everything into position like a butterfly knife (which would be illegal, and something that I know nothing about, lol). Warning, pressing the said pink buttons fires the dart if the blaster is primed, as I have shot myself more than once messing with this (no, it doesn't hurt any more than the other stock Nerf blasters, unless you shoot your eye out kid).

Good gun, not user friendly to fold/unfold
This gun design is very clever but it is difficult to fold and unfold. If the buttons aren't completely pressed in and the grip in just the right position it will get stuck. It only holds one bullet and no storage on it for additional bullets. Overall it is a good gun, just not as easy for my daughter to use as I'd hoped for. Love the colors and the "hammer" is easy for her to pull back so I love that aspect as well.

OK, It's a Foam Dart Blaster that Folds Up, But Eh
Very much a gimmick.Look to Youtube videos to demonstrate the way this foam dart gun folds up into a small brick about the size of a wallet. Yes, it is a bit creative in a somewhat of a "transformer" toy kind of way, but it's a bit clunky in the way it does it.After you've gone through folding it up and unfolding it a couple of times, the novelty wears off really fast.

Cute and Clever
This is super cute. When folded up it looks somewhat like a toy camera, when unfolded, it becomes a nerf gun. One thing I've noticed is that while these are designed for girls, the convertibility quality of them really appeals to my boys who end up playing with them just as much as my daughter. They always show her how to convert and unconverted them quickly. Cute item; great price.
