Olay retinol does fine, but even as long as I have used Retinol, my skin will not tolerate 1.0 in any brand. This Avene .5 reinaldehyde works great. And the container empties out Completely. When my previous container ran out, I dropped it and the bottom popped off. It was COMPLETELY empty. It has a very reliable delivery system. Great Product. Just ordered a new one.

Great Retinol

Does help with minor wrinkles
I have sensitive 65 yo skin. I have used skincare on my face for 50 years using department store brands. My dermatologist recommended this brand for my face & I even purchased a few items from my derm before finding it here on Amazon. This is the lower dose of the retinal. It did not bother my skin. I can use it every night if I wanted too. I do see some improvement & have ordered the eye cream. Will let you know!

Great alternative to retinol
My skin has struggled with tret and even pure retinol. This has been working out much better for me overall. Can still cause some redness if I use everyday, so I make sure to take days off intermittently.

This brand is excellent
I’m into this brand already and their eye cream is just as fabulous as the rest of their products I’ve tried so far. The consistency is thicker than I imagined, but it works great and that’s what matters. Definitely recommend.

Retrinal
Great product, however I have since started using the 1 percent. But this was definately a good starting point and it did not irritate my skin.
