Nice pair of pants.
The pants fit as I wanted them too. The length is a little bit long but I’m short so. Thighs are tighter than I would’ve liked so when I squat down they get snug. I ordered a 34 and I’m 5’8” and 184 pounds. I’ve got plenty of room in the waist. I’m definitely getting a better belt for these and I recommend you do also. Plastic buckle that’ll last about three minutes of doing anything. But overall a descent pair of pants. A little noisy but nothing I can’t live with. Using them as hiking pants so I could care less about the sound. If they were relaxed fit they would be completely awesome or if I had smaller thighs. One of the other but oh well but I do recommend these pants.

Less noisy than Toomett's brand with other pluses!
I will be hiking the El Camino July of 2024 and I need a reliable pair of pants. Thus I ordered two brands to compare. Both brands (Toomett & Jessie Kidden) were made with 90%nylon 10% Spandex in China but the material in the Toomett's seemed a little more robust. The down side of this is the Toomett's are definitely noisier. The price difference was negligible. The fit of the Toomett is tighter in the legs (I have muscular legs thanks to genetics and exercise) and they seemed appropriate to size ordered. The fit of the Kidden is roomier but the leg lengths are overly generous and will drag on me. The Kidden has leg cuff strings for tightening where the Toomett does not. The Toomett has a longer fly zipper and a metal riveted button fastener at the waist; the Kidden has a tiny zipper (like ladies pants) and a barely sufficiently sewn plastic button fastener. The Toomett has wide belt loops and comes with a belt, the Kidden has skinny ones and no belt. The inside of the Toomett has a soft material liner around the waistline that will help keep tucked shirts in place and the Kidden does not. Both have deep mesh lined slant pockets. The Toomett's cargo pockets are deeper but the Kidden ones are bellowed. The Kidden zippered pocket has a cover where the Toomett is exposed. The hook and loop fasteners on the Toomett pant are more robust but placed near one side. The flimsier hook and loop on the Kidden pants are placed in the center of each pocket. Both companies pants have zippered leg releases to create shorts but the Toomett zipper is a bit more robust. The length of both pair of shorts hit at my knee caps. If a looser fitting pant that is not noisy is what you seek, this is a reasonable choice.

Held up well.
I ordered and wore these pants on a canoe/camping trip up at the BWCA in Minnesota. I carried #55 pack and portaged 4 times, set up three campsites and canoed around 14 miles in between. These pants held up great! No torn zipper, crotch or pockets. These pants are very water resistant, light and comfortable to wear, and stretchy. Love the Velcro and zipped pockets to keep items in place. Great pants.

RUN SMALL
Bought them as a gift for my husband. He liked the style, fabric and convertible design. EXCEPT THEY RUN SMALL and he refuses to wear them now :(. Unfortunately we missed the return window and they are destined to go to a donations box.

Great for Everyday Hikes – Comfortable and Functional
These convertible hiking pants have been perfect for my daily walks and hikes. The quick-dry fabric is super practical, and the zip-off legs are great for adjusting to changing weather. What really stands out is the number of pockets—plenty of space for carrying essentials like my phone, wallet, keys, and even snacks without needing a backpack. The elastic fabric combined with the included belt makes the fit really comfortable, even when bending, climbing, or sitting for a break.

Men's Travel Safari Pants Convertible Quick Dry Zip Off
These pants are just perfect. The fabric dries quickly and wicks moisture away from you during your exertion. The color is just dark enough to be fashionable but light enough to not be mistaken for black. The fit is excellent. In the rainforest, tight fitting clothes permit mosquitoes and other swarming bugs to bite right through them. These pants are just loose enough to thwart the mosquitoes and the bugs but not so loose that you look like a kid playing dress up! The clasp on the belt is super easy to operate also. The pants are well made as the zippers work well zipping off the legs and reattaching them.

Fail
Update Mar 2023: Front zipper broke. Not wearable. Stay away. . . .The pants fit as expected. Material is 100% nylon, could be smoother to the touch. Waist closure is a single sewn-not-riveted plastic button. Maybe that will hold up? Has some pockets. Needs a watch pocket like all jeans. The left thigh cargo pocket is ok, pleated and actually has some depth and capacity. The right thigh pocket is nothing - it is no more than a piece of material sewn to the thigh with a zipper on top. I can barely get my hand in it, and it will hold precious little "cargo." The product description is sloppy and inaccurate: There is exactly one zippered pocket in front, the useless one on the right thigh, not both sides and thighs as claimed (left thigh is velcro); the back pockets are NOT zippered as claimed, they are sewn shut on one corner with a velcro tab in the center, which barely lets you open the pocket, terrible idea. The bottoms of the legs can be removed to convert to shorts, but not over shoes because there is no ankle zipper to open up the hem. Forget the included "belt" and its plastic buckle. You will need a real belt. I am keeping the pants, but it was a close call. These are just lower-to-middle market light nylon pants. Don't expect more and you will not be disappointed. Update: Actually you might be disappointed. The zipper on the right thigh pocket just broke. Down to 2 stars.
