Easy install! Problem solver!
These are the bomb! Buy them! I bought these mainly for the comfort of my wife. More often than not when riding in my truck 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 my wife would complain going over dips or speed bumps or taking a turn and the road has a water ditch. The truck would have insane body roll if I didn't take any bump/ditch at the pace of a dead turtle. Installed these in about a hour. It solved rhe body roll BIG time, and on occasion when I pull a trailer it doesn't sag down and the ride quality with a trailer is day and night difference.

Great for a tow vehicle
First off, unless you’re regularly towing a trailer with excessive tongue weight or putting a lot of weight towards the back of the truck, you don’t need these. Stop looking, there is no positive to these for a daily driver or a guy pulling a 12ft open landscape trailer. You’re only going to end up spending money on an unnecessarily bouncy rear end. These are also not so great for off-road applications as they limit suspension travel and try to lift your low side tire off the ground on uneven terrain. Driving through deep, loose beach sand at 5mph my rear tires hopped so harshly it triggered OnStar to call 911 for me twice in an hour. That being said, for for their intended purpose these things are hard to beat. When you start putting on weight, you’ve got ~2” of sag before the springs contact and start holding weight. The trailer I regularly pull has around 600lbs of tongue weight and I end up with less than 3” of total sag, pretty decent for a half ton pickup! Rear end definitely feels more planted to the ground, and with the truck riding level you almost don’t feel the trailer through the steering wheel. Worth their weight in gold if you’re putting on a lot of loaded miles.Install was 15-20 minutes tops, with most of that time being spent breaking the stock bump stops loose. Easy enough that when I know I won’t be towing for a week or two, I’ll swap them out for regular bump stops and enjoy the factory ride, which is a 5-10 minute job after you’ve done it a couple times. There’s a gap between the bottom of the cup that holds the factory bump stop and the bottom of the plate on these springs, which the kit includes a stack of washers to use as spacers. I shaved down a couple 3/8” drive sockets to use as spacers instead, which made the install feel much more solid. Aside from this minor issue, these get 5 stars from me every day of the week and I’d recommend them to anybody testing the limits on their truck’s tow/haul capacities.

They installed easily and all I can say is wow
I bought these to replace Firestone Ride Rite airbags I had installed back in December 2017. I had the airbags to help when towing our 30' travel trailer (7K lbs) about 6-8 times per year. The airbags worked ok, but required ongoing maintenance to make sure they had minimum psi when I wasn't towing. Since I didn't tow all the time the on board air compressor wasn't worth the $$$. The airbags also didn't help the overall ride. They would support the weight, but didn't help with the overall ride. The other day I noticed an airbag bracket was loose. That was it, I took out the airbags an ordered the SumoSprings. They installed easily and all I can say is wow! They are amazing. I typical have a few hundred pounds in my truck (shell, Decked cargo system and some misc stuff) and the SumoSprimgs handle the weight great and dramatically improve the ride quality of my truck (2014 Silverado Crew Cab 4WD LTZ Z71 w/ Bilstein 5100's). Crazy these do a better job then the airbags and require no maintenance. I highly recommend the SumoSprings.Side note: unloaded they add about 1/2" - 3/4" of ride height in the rear.

Good Product but needs more design thought
Installed on a 2016 Chevy 1500 Silverado - These rubber springs seem to be made ok but I have only a couple of negative comments. The directions call to remove a 10mm bolt from the existing snubber. It's not a 10mm bolt but a metric bolt with a 10mm head. Our truck has a metal pocket welded to the bracket. The original snubber sits in that metal pocket. The Sumo springs are too large in diameter to fit inside so must sit on top of the pocket edge. The directions have you adding a stack of plain washers to make up the distance. This really is a pretty cheesy way of doing this. A single larger spacer would be a much better design. The bottom line is they may work fine but installation wise they are attempting to cover too many bases with one package. I would have finished the first side quicker if not for stopping to see if there was an installation step or parts I was missing.

I wish I knew about Sumo Springs when I had my last truck.
I put Sumo Springs on my 2019 (new body) Silverado. The springs work great and were easy to install, although the instructions were not much help. The axle is about 1 inch from the Sumo Spring with no load in the bed. I can feel the axle contact the spring when hitting a bump in the road, but it is not uncomfortable. One photo shows a load of over 1,100 lbs Truex deck and the other shows the wheel well with 0ver 1,500 lbs of dog food in the bed. Squat was minimal and the ride was great. Also included is a photo of the truck with a 27 ft travel trailer, 600 lbs tongue weight (without WDH bars installed).

Perfect for Towing!
Great addition for towing my travel trailer!I must admit I do not have a perfect comparison as I also purchased a new travel trailer. However, It is the same length and weight as my old trailer- but with the sumo-springs it does wonderfully! Very little bounce and the rear end feels much stiffer- holding the trailer in line at speeds. My old trailer pushed me all over the road...VERY easy to install! It took me about an hour- 45 minutes of which was getting the old bump stops out. 5 minutes to bandage my knuckles and only about 10 minutes to actually put them in.Only con- without any weight in/on the bed of my truck it rides a bit stiff, almost like a 3/4 ton. But... isn't that the point?*Photo shows my truck with trailer attached, using WD hitch, you can see minimal squat in the rear end with sumo springs installed.

Stiffened up rear suspension nicely yet still a comfy ride
Stiffened up rear suspension nicely yet still a comfy ride. Handles much better with load in back. Easy to install and great customer service from SuperSprings with tech questions.

reduce your body roll and sway
Did a lot of research before buying these. Installation is not bad after you remove the stock bumps. Which were rusted and stuck in my case. Yet to test these with a big load. But you must be okay with having a stiffer ride after installing these. They reduce body roll which is pretty cool. 4 stars because in my opion there should be an even softer option than the blue ones.
