Using this on a 2022 Kia Niro, I wouldn't say it's completely black out as the top leaves a couple inches uncovered BUT it covers enough for what I need this for. It's A LOT better than the accordion style sun shades!Definitely keeps the car cooler in this Colorado sun. I work in Hospice so I'm often in and out of facilities and homes ranging from 15mins to an hour each time and I've noticed a significant difference in how quickly my AC cools when I start the car and that it's a lot cooler in general compared to without it.The amount of layers is a little questionable but I'm not trying to cut it to see but it feels thinner than I'd imagine, but like I said, it does what it needs to so I'm not worried about it.Folding it to get it back to the bag takes a little practice but it's easy once you figure it out, also folds fairly small so it takes up less space! I would recommend this sun shade.

This shade has a velcro closure around the mirror which I've never seen on a shade before; nice touch.Fits well and fabric is stiffer than some which makes the corners of the windshield easier to cover. Frame is also stiffer than other twist to close shades and seems to yield and fold nicely. 4 stars only because I thought it's a little pricey for a shade. I wish they still made the cheap folding cardboard ones. They worked well enough and it was no great loss to replace every year.

I really like how small this product is when stored. The first time I used it, I was not clear on how to fold it. I finally figured out that you twisted, adjusted the size and then made the last fold. You need three panels when your done. Highly recommended.

Does not fit perfectly for 2019 niro, length is ok width is not big gap like more than two inches either on top or bottom returning this product

Fits my 2020 Kia Niro windshield perfectly. Only problem is trying to fit it in the case.

I didn't really care for it. Not that perfect a fit, ended up buying a universal one for $10 less that also folded up smaller when not in use.

Works as advertised, fits when "universal fit" shades didnt
