I’m very pleased with the quality of this pot! I wanted something a little bigger for soups, but well made, and heavy duty to last. I was not disappointed! I’m glad I made the choice to get this particular pot!

This is the perfect size for making soups, sauces and stews. I used it right away to make chicken soup, which includes sauteing onion and garlic, then adding 8 cups of chicken stock, chicken breast, veggies, aromatic herbs and spices and Orzo. There was more than enough room for another 4 cups of stock, which is how I will be doing it in the future.I have a glass flat top stove and it sat perfectly flat on the burner. The vented lid kept the soup from boiling over, and its metal handle was very warm to the touch, but not so hot that I had to use a pot holder to lift the lid. The two side handles were nothing more than slightly warm during the whole cooking process. I chose not to season the pot (instructions on how to do it are included, so I was happy to find that clean-up was simple because, even though the Orzo always seems to like to hit the bottom and hold on, it never stuck enough to leave bits to deal with in the sink while washing.I highly recommend this 6 quart stainless steel pot made by HOMICHEF.

Been meaning to switch to healthy cookware and after 6 hours of browsing and reading up on materials lol, ended with this,First time I season it it turn a bit brown, read that normal tho. Anyways just a great job with soups and easy to clean. Gentle scrubbing

I ordered this pot to replace another one that I have had for more than 40 years because the handles began to melt and chip. This pot surprised me with how will it cooks. It requires lower Heat and comes to a boil very quickly. It makes perfect rice or soups or sauces. I love the glass lid so that I can see what is cooking without needing to remove the lid. The metal handles are sturdy and just the right size. I should have bought this pot long ago. I recommend it highly.

Have only made a few meals so far but it seems really great. No issues.
