The WigWag Home Automation Kit includes the WigWag Relay and 4 Filament smart color LEDs. Designed to be the digital core of the modern smart home, the Relay gets all of your smart devices working together as a personalized system that is more manageable, secure and automatic. Created with interoperability, security and flexibility in mind, the WigWag Relay works with Zigbee, Z-Wave, 6loWPAN and Wi-Fi smart devices from most popular brands. It is expandable, programmable and because of it’s unique hybrid network architecture, it works even when the Internet is down. All our Relays include the WigWag Rule builder that will enable you to create custom environments for a wide variety of scenarios – just like the pros. To get you started, we included 4 WigWag Filaments smart RGB LED bulbs in the kit. These are high performing, colorable, dimmable LED’s that you can control right from your smartphone (iOS or Android), or program them to respond to sensors, time and other triggers with the Rule Builder. All WigWag devices use our patented technology which forms a mesh network that expands as you add bulbs. This means, you don’t have to worry about the dead spots often experienced with WiFi based products. The advanced routing and broadcast technology ensures ultra-fast response times from all of your bulbs at once. Each WigWag device is encrypted individually using AES 128-bit encryption, then the key updates every 4 hours. This is like having a locksmith come 6 times a day to change all of your door locks. Whether you’re just looking to start with smart lighting or you're ready to automate a broader range of devices including switches, sensors, audio, appliances, HVAC – and more – the WigWag Home Automation Kit is a solution that grows with you. Don’t get stuck with legacy systems that can’t be upgraded, expanded to other protocols, or operate without the cloud. Future proof your smart home investment with WigWag. (Echo support coming soon)

Needs ALOT of work
9/22/17 UpdateVery disappointed. Relay constantly goes offline. Cycling power is the only way to reboot. Can’t recommend.2/4/17 UpdateI need to give these guys credit where deserved. The app is clunky and you have to create rules on the website rather than through the app (they say this is coming soon). However, I've noticed their connection to my home devices (WeMo, tcp) is much more stable than the manufacturers' apps. Encouraging.First reviewI'm not a kickstarter investor, just purchased on Amazon. Main reason for purchase was to remotely control my TCP bulbs. It does appear to control them, but not as nicely as the tcp remote app. It's not a polished app as we have become used to seeing. You cannot set up rules in the mobile app. It says you have to use the desktop app. Not sure what the desktop apps is but there appears to be a web portal for rule design. But, it's no fun. Please take a look at the picture. I'm not a computer novice, but I really don't feel like programming rules.I'm still working with it, but I can't recommend at this time. Sorry.

Works well with TCP Connected
We have been running with our TCP Connected Hub for several months now without any problems. It's nice being able to run our lights remotely from our phones again while away from home. Rule builder is easy to use. We also have integrated WeMo Plugs and Alexa with WigWags Relay and all is working well. Thank You Wig Wag!

Great rule building!
I am one of the original kickstarter supporters. The rule software these guys have is Awesome - that is the reason for my high review. You can create very complex rules which is lacking in most systems. It is also very easy to do. The mobile app still needs work but is decent. Pairing z-wave devices has been very easy. I think this has the potential of being a great home automation suite.

Not Ready
Got this through their Kickstarter campaign. I will limit my comments to the product as the campaign issues are not relevant to Amazon purchases.I received the sensor block and 2 filament bulbs. I went through the set up process and was able to connect the sensor block to the bulbs but there were issues building rules through their app and getting the lamps to do the simple tasks I was attempting like turning lights on when I entered the room or turning lights blue if it was below freezing outside (internet connection for temperature not any local sensor).I'd recommend sticking with a proven product like Phillips hue especially if you plan to do more than just switch blubs on and off and change the color. Granted the WigWag filament bulbs are brighter with better bolder colors (especially in the green end of the spectrum) but so are the Qube bulbs and I got them for $20 each no hub required.

NOT READY FOR AMAZON CUSTOMERS!!!!!
WigWag has about 1700 backers of their Kickstarter campaign that was completed THREE YEARS ago, and well over 1000 of them have yet to receive any product. Anyone who buys anything from WigWag is getting, at best, an unproven system.I will update this review after the Kickstarter backers get their product.

Avoid at all costs
Just avoid, extremely expensive out of date hardware, brought to Amazon by ripping off kickstarter backers. A real shame.
