Jamaican Black Fruit Cake (10 inch)

My friend is from Jamaica and has been talking about this wonderful cake that has fruit soaked in Jamaican rum for 1 year. Then the fruit is puréed and added to the other ingredients. The cake is black, rich and moist, heavy with the fruity rum mixture. Still skeptical? Try it with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Still not feeling it? Send it to me! Will last up to a year refrigerated.😋

I am familiar with caribbean cuisine. This is a well made and tasteful product. It is a little more crumbly than a home made version. But it is good enough to bring satisfaction to those who know the item

This cake is freaking delicious, I can't stop eating it even though my thighs can't handle it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the packaging. But the aroma from the box and the taste had me hooked.

I was skeptical when I bought this cake, but I’m sorry I didn’t purchased more than 1, so delicious and moist. It reminds me of when my grandmother’s cake. This is how Jamaican fruit cake supposed to taste, job well done.
