I decided to buy the Camila Paris CP3019-CP3018 French Hair Barrette Clip after using other brands for years. They have a nice color shade, are durable and do not damage your hair due to the rubber like coating on the clasp. It does not tangle or break your hair. I recommend this product and if they fail, I will buy them again.

I have bought quite a few Camilla hair barrettes. I like the rubber on the clasp and I like the way they look. Nicely made and hold up well. I think they're worth the extra cost as you get what you pay for. I do not have a lot of hair, very fine, medium length. This clip holds my hair in a ponytail and because it's wider than a hair tie, I think it might make it look like I have more hair. I think it would be too small or people with thicker hair. They have plenty of 4" clips that would be better for really thick hair in a ponytail. Of all the Camilla barrettes I have, none have ever come out of my hair, even with my hair being so fine and thin. I even have some of the bigger ones and they work fine for me, but this size is ideal for my type of hair in a ponytail. I would really like to see some models wearing their hair accessories so I could get a better idea of what they look like.

i purchased a bunch of Camila Paris barrettes to see which size suites my hair type. i have unfortunately decided on this even though the hair clip is smaller than expected. i'll just have to grab little bit of hair instead of the expected amount.

Love these hair clips. They are a well made French clip style barrette with a rubber covering around the metal bar to prevent slipping in your hair. The top plastic part of the barrette is 3.25”; the metal French clip underneath is 2.75“ which I found to be the perfect size. Some previously commented that they found the mechanism hard to work, but I didn’t have any problem inserting or removing from my hair. My only complaint is that the bundle of 2 clips includes one brown and one black. I preferred a matching set so after receiving my order and confirmed the original was everything I hoped for, I bought another set so now I will have two matching pairs. They came carefully packaged in individual fabric pouches to prevent scratching and then both rolled to fit the set in a small plastic bag. If you have thick hair as I do, I believe you will be as pleased as I am with this purchase!

The metal clasp is rusty and the clasp broke when I tried to use it for the first time. Not worth the money at all

Very disappointed. The clips, which is the essential part of a barrette are cheap and very difficult to open and close definitely overpriced.

I have long thin hair and barrettes usually slide right out. This one is very well made and works great on my thin ponytail. I absolutely love it. The tortoise shell is pretty, too. All of the barrettes I have purchased from this store are great!
