Q: Would these be a good size for a newborn photo prop?

yeah - its about the size of a newborn. LOL ...when you get it the suitcases will be inside of each other - so don't panic when you open the box and see only one suitcase.

Q: I am looking to get a piece of luggage for a deck of playing cards.. any suggestions??

The pieces are larger than a deck of playing cards, although the smaller of the three might be able to hold 2 decks.

Q: Are these tall enough to use as side couch tables if stacked on top of each other?

Unlikely so. They may also not be sturdy enough to rest multiple items on top of them. However, they are study enough to stand on their own stacked on top of each other.
