This was so helpful, especially for finding affordable quality lodging. And the subway map was MVP

I was so excited that some places I had heard about on a sleep app were real and I am so excited that I found them in your book. It is well written and we are excited to explore Japan soon with your book guiding us to some amazing places.

Love the book has helped me organize my trip

I was disappointed in the size. When viewing the product I thought it would be larger. Would suggest they list the size of the book as well. Bought for someone who wants to go to Japan but can't afford it now. Thought she would like to "plan" her trip using this book which lists many all the different areas and available things to do. It does look rather comprehensive from the flip through. Will see how the recipient likes it.

The Lonely Planet is now the only guide I travel with, it's saved my bacon more than once. I always travel with the actual book, it's easier to flip back and forth or highlight. Plus nobody wants to steal a book and it never runs out of battery when you need it the most.
