Buxton Butterfly

This wallet is exactly what I was looking for as far as size so it works for my needs. I gave it four stars simply because the edges of the wallet are rubbing out after only 2 weeks. I will however, continue to buy this wallet because it fits all my credit cards and fits in my pocket.

I loved how it looked.

I purchased this wallet prior to a trip for its RFID protection. The floral pattern looks exactly as advertised and I am happy with the wallet overall. The wallet is small, fairly wide and stiff, but fits easily in my minipurse. The coin compartment is minimal; it will hold only ~10 coins without overcrowding. The card compartment is roomier and can accept two cards per slot if necessary. You can put bills folded in half in either compartment, but it's a tight fit in either. There is a little more room for folded bills in the back of the card compartment, but the limit seems to be about a dozen folded bills. The zipper on the card compartment sometimes "hides" in a crack underneath the base of the wallet when it is open. I've seen a few reviews that complained about the zipper coming off, and this is possibly what happened instead. Some reviews also complained about the wallet not working with work-related easy access door RFID signals. There is a note in the Q & A section explaining that the wallet is designed to block higher frequency signals commonly used for passport/bank/credit cards. Company easy access doors generally use lower frequencies, and the wallet designers purposely chose a blocking material that would make it possible for people to enter/exit work without the hassle of removing their cards from the wallet, yet have RFID blocking for their higher-security bank & credit cards.

I've been using one of those metal cases for my cards to prevent having my card information stolen. That case only has two slots, so I've had to stack all of my cards on top of one another (which is a huge pain having to dig them out and shuffle through them). I can't vouch for the effectiveness of the theft prevention. However, when you open the wallet up, it has a thin layer of some sort of material that almost looks like tin foil. So I'm feeling pretty confident about it's effectiveness. This wallet is EXACTLY what I was looking for, and here's why:1 - It's super cute.2. There are two "pockets" with separate zippers, one I use for all my cards and the other holds my cash. The smaller pocket has two slots, one of which is pretty tight and I don't know that I would want to try to use it for anything...(My ONLY concern with this wallet, but it has so much room elsewhere I really don't care about it.)3. There are several slots in the larger pocket, at least 11, and each slot will hold two cards. If you have more than 22 credit cards, I feel very sorry for you!4. There is a slot on the front to hold my I.D./Drivers license, so I don't have to go digging for it every time I need it.All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a cute, functional wallet that provides security!T

I do like the size for travel. Zippers seen to be good quality. Started peeling after 2 weeks around edges! Not the Buxton quality I remember.

I bought this as a gift for my mother in 2015 and she is still using it in 2022.

Was very disappointing. I was trying to replace a Buxton wallet of same style that I had had for long time and was pleased with but this was not that. It is narrower. The pockets are smaller so barely fit one credit card per. My old version would fit 3 or 4 per slot. Some of my medical and ID cards are a bit bigger than a credit card so do not fit at all but did fit nicely in old version. Coin and bill side small and won't hold a lot. Biggest disappointment, the wallet received had prepriced retail of $9.99. Price I paid was not only higher for the wallet but after shipping and taxes it came to $20. Not the bargain or quality I was expecting. Will shop wallets locally from now on.

I was looking for a smaller wallet, so this fits my size needs perfectly. Plenty of slots for credit cards etc. The cash compartment is a little lacking. Nice big compartment for coins, but no good spot for paper bills. There are 2 slots where paper money could go, but both are very tight. You could put it in the same slot as your change, but then it is too loose. And either option requires the bills to be folded into 4ths. If you don't carry much cash, then this won't be an issue. Sometimes the zippers get stuck on the fabric of the inner compartments.Like I said the size was my main reason for buying this wallet, and so I am satisfied with it for now (only had it about a week). I cannot attest to the effectiveness of the RFID functionality.

Good quality - holds a number of cards securely. It is wide and bulky, but to be expected. A coin purse would make this more useful. Bright blue colour is easy to spot in a bag or those seemingly bottomless purses.

The size is perfect and my cards are protected from crooks. That is exactly what I asked it to do.

Really like the wallet. It's everything I needed and wanted to hold and secure my cards. Thank you
