Total game changer!! 🙌🏻👍🏻😊👶🏻
These things are absolutely the best!!! I just started using them today for our six month old little guy and it only took him a few seconds to figure out how they work and he literally had a pouch completely eaten in just a few minutes. I absolutely love that these work like a real straw and there is no slow flow valve forcing our little guy to have to bite while sucking just to get a little bit of food out at a time. The beautiful thing is that the cleanup is so little because of how the straw goes in his mouth that’s keeping most of the food in his mouth. I don’t just hand him the pouch and hope for the best because any baby would just begin to paint with their food but instead it’s a special bonding time where for only a few minutes I either hold him in my lap or place myself in front of his high chair and assist him in holding his pouch while allowing him to suck at his pace while slowly pushing some of the food at the bottom of the pouch up toward the top to help make sure he gets everything. No more chasing babies mouth with a messy dripping spoon hoping that most of it gets in the hatch… ;-) The silicone cylinder shaped toward the bottom of the straw acts as a shield to assist in keeping the food in babies mouth plus prevents the straw from being a choking hazard. It’s awesome that this topper is one solid piece completely made of silicone and there is no way a baby could choke on this thing because of the width of that silicone disc shape at the base of the straw. These toppers also feel very durable and I love that they come in a four pack of neutral colors. They are super easy to clean and I absolutely love that there are no weird small tiny crevices or parts that you are hoping to get clean but in reality may be harboring bacteria. I am never going back to spoons if I can help it and definitely going to be sharing these with all of my friends who have babies because my life sure just got easier! :-) Thank you!!!

PouchPop vs ChooMee sip n' soft top
These work fairly well, but like many other tips for food pouches they are not perfect. I also own ChooMee Sip n' Soft Tops, so I will try to make a comparison of the two.Functionality: The benefit to the ChooMee tops is the little valve that prevents accidentally-on-purpose spills when baby squeezes the pouch. The top is all one piece of silicone and the valve itself is a thin piece of silicone with a slit down the middle. PouchPop tops have no valve and baby can just squeeze the food out everywhere. Well, both have their pro's and cons as far as the functionality. The ChooMee tops are awesome at preventing accidental spills, but they are also really difficult to suck the food out of unless the puree is very thin (I mean watered down regular yogurt with no fruit thin). So most of the time we end up using the PouchPop tops because even thick purees will come out of this just fine. Because there is no valve, these allow a lot of food to flow out at one time, so young babies might have a hard time with that.Caps: The little cap on the ChooMee feeder is a nice touch. These are great if baby doesn't eat all of the pouch at once and you don't want to take this off to replace the cap temporarily. PouchPops do not have these. Although this isn't a huge issue for us, my baby does sometimes get distracted by the cap hanging off of the ChooMee top and would rather play with it than eat.Staying put on Pouch: ChooMee tops push onto the food pouch and kind of "snap" on. They are super easy to put on and even more easy to take off. This has been our biggest issue with these caps. My 12 month old is constantly taking off the cap, then the contents of the pouch spill everywhere. The PouchPop tops screw on to the cap and have fit every pouch I've tried (refillable, infantino pouches, and store bought pouches). These definitely win in this category because my baby cannot get the off of the pouches.Overall: Both are made of quality silicone material, they are super easy to clean, and work decently for their purpose. Neither is perfect. The ChooMee caps are probably better for younger infants (6 months and up), and the PouchPop tops are probably better for older babies (12 months and up) when the baby is better about not squeezing the pouch too hard and they can handle more food at one time.

Feeding Made Simple
When we first went to solids I was feeding my son from a bowl with a spoon and he did great. But I had some reusable pouches and screw on spoons for when we were out of the house. Well the first and only time I tried the spoons it was a nightmare. They were too deep, and with the food coming out the base he couldn't get to it. I had to take the spoon off and feed him directly from the pouch worrying about his gums the whole time (no teeth but liked to bite). Then he got sick and we had to go off solids so I started looking for a better spoon for when we started back up. I found these in the process and I'm in love. They're easy to use, wash, and they keep my sons gums safe and his face away from the sharp plastic. The only thing is the base, I feel it's too small. My son is breastfed and likes the avent pacifiers, he approaches these the same way. So because the base is smaller he has it partially in his mouth as he tries to "latch". I would love it if they made these with a bigger base for smaller babies. I know he'll learn to suck like it's a straw eventually but for now it's causing a bit of a mess.I gave these four stars out of five because of the price, base, and lack of carry case (like all the spoons have) Handy as they are I don't like having to carry a baggy to store the messy topper in when my son is finished with it. A small case would be a great help. Although if you're using a reusable pouch you can simply zip it inside once the pouch is empty. Also the price is pretty steep. I can see these getting accidentally tossed and at $2.50 each that's a bit much.
