Very happy with assortment. Primarily compression springs.
Great assortment of compression springs, I'd say 90%, a few were un-paired, but plenty of others to choose from.A small handful of extension springs, and only 6 torsion springs, 4 of which were the same, so not ideal if you're looking for those.I only needed compression springs for my projects, so very happy with what I got for the price.ADDED JAN 2019: I just bought a second bag of these for good measure after seeing how expensive springs are elsewhere. This time I was curious to count exactly what comes in the bag. There were a total of 593 springs, the net weight of which was 185g. There were 33 tension springs, 4 identical torsion springs, and 556 compression springs (192 of which were the tiny grain-of-rice sized ones). FYI.

Not a serious headline - springs bought for hobby prorct. Fast service, fine product.

Great to have on hand for those times when a part comes apart and things go flying!
I bought these to replace the pair of springs in a hatch latch that flew apart because it had no back on it. This happened over a big diesel engine so with much effort I did manage to find one spring of the pair for comparison sake to go by selecting from this bag of springs. I found about 8 that would work and so replaced the 2 needed and reassembled the latch and also making a back for it to keep things in place should it need to be removed again.This bag of springs should be able to get you out of a tight spot in some cases, not all, but is worth having on hand. Also, thankfully on cleanup in my shop I found the missing spring, about 20 feet away, that I will put away tagged with the mate for later use should it be needed. The cost of this bag of springs is cheap compared to the price of the obsolete latch which enters the realm of unobtanium.Highly recommended!
