works great. pretty simple install
**this particular unit is 12 feet. some of the others are 10 feet. if you want to save $, get the 12 footers. they appear to be the same, if not a little taller and you will end up saving $ by not having to buy as many panels.** we just bought a house that had an inground pool. we have a toddler and needed a fence asap! i did some research and found these her on Amazon. shipping was a little slow and was horribly packaged. the ends of pretty much every single box was open when it arrived. somehow none of the parts managed to get lost. you just have to take your time to map out how you will install the fence. i didnt want to alter any of the panels so i measured and adjusted so that each panel used would be complete. it definitely takes two people to do this and a good size measuring tape helps. we used a 25' tape. if you really have the time, using string would help as well. i HIGHLY suggest you get the drilling guide. you can rent it for free (pay for shipping) from one of the vendors here on Amazon. with like a $350 deposit, which they refunded when they got the guide back. it helps with ensuring that you're drilling at the proper angles. as the old saying goes, measure twice, cut (drill) once. take your time so you dont end up drilling extra holes by accident. i did drill some extra holes next to the fence where we access the pool. this is so you can open the fence panel and put the "stake" into the extra hole, so its not just dangling there. looks nicer and less wear and tear on the panel. its been working great. it also helps keep the leaves out of the pool when its really windy which our pool man appreciates. it definitely feels like quality material and should last long enough till we dont need it any more; when our baby is old enough to understand pool safety. we ended up having one extra panel which amazon took back no problem.

Great product, a bit tricky to install
I installed 65 feet of this fencing, and had great results. It takes some skill to install. I used a commercial grade hammer drill. I carefully made a template using a 4x4 with the 36" and 38" spacing. I thought this would help me keep the drill vertical, but it did not. A 2x4 template would have been just as effective. I put a level on my drill to align it. The instructions said to lean the holes outward 2-3 degrees on a curve, which I did. One big problem with installing is stones in the concrete that are not fully removed. Because of the stones, the whole in a few inserts were not large enough (after the insert was installed). I had to drill out the holes with a 1/2 inch drill (a conventional drill, not a masonry drill). A 13mm drill, which is .512" can be ordered on Amazon.com for less than $6. The .012 makes it easier to get the hole large enough. With a 1/2 inch drill, I had to waller out the whole. I had some holes that were not deep enough, so the inserts would not go completely in. I drilled out the holes with a 1/2 inch concrete drill, and then tapped down the inserts. I was very relieved to see the inserts fully seated. It is easy to reduce the length of a section. I had to do this for the last section that connected to the fence in the flowerbed. The fence poles and netting material are great. The latches between sections are marginal, and it can be hard to pull back the safety lock. I modified the latch that I use as the gate. I removed the spring loaded safety lock, and bent the end into a hook so that a child can not push it up and release it. Overall, this is a great product. If you drill out the inserts, then the poles remove easily. This is much easier and cheaper than installing a gate. Plan on drilling out the inserts. That way, you will be ready when 25% of the posts do not seat easily at first. I am extremely happy with this product.

There are a lot of pool barriers, but this is the easiest, nicest, and most affordable!
I needed a pool barrier to pass my pool inspection and came across this as an option. I am building a 1.5m home on the water and I didn't want it to look 'cheesy' but needed something fast as my fencing contractor couldn't finish the fence prior to completion of the home - and the lack of pool barrier was going to delay moving in. I found this on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. It took about 45 minutes to install - even drilling it into thick pavers around the pool. The barrier is sturdy and looks good - even though I typically hate the look of these type barriers. What is best is the county pool inspector came to inspect - he walked up, viewed the barrier, and turned around and said "you passed!" He said this makes things easy because you don't have to put up all the pool alarms etc that are typically associated with fences around the yard and pool. Bottom line, give this a shot....I am a picky buyer and if it satisfies me, it should satisfy just about anyone.

Not bad, reasonably sturdy
We bought this fence a few months back but didn't install it until recently. Some of the installation videos we watched on youtube suggested we might want a core drill instead of an ordinary one, and we couldn't figure out whether to buy or rent that or whether buy or rent an ordinary rotary hammer drill, and how to drill straight holes. In the end, we went with what the fence installation instructions said and bought the WaterWarden drill guide and a rotary hammer with a 18" drill bit: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VQDZSI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012DQX5U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WI4236/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The rotary hammer was quite sufficient, maybe a minute of drilling time per hole. The plastic sleeves that hold the fence were easy to insert into the holes with a mallet. The fence itself is not as easy to put up and take down as their video makes you believe. Once the sleeves are in the concrete, the fence no longer slides in easily, and even less so when there's tension on it. I had to use a mallet on most of the fence posts to get them all the way in, and taking them out also requires some force. Not impossible, but not something you'd want to do every weekend or whenever you want to increase your porch space. To save money, we bought the drill guide and the fence itself used, and the rotary hammer is also factory reconditioned. For the most part, we're happy with that decision. Amazon's description said the product would be complete, but about half of the fence boxes were missing hardware: The plastic sleeves themselves that you put in the concrete were there but the little plastic caps you're supposed to put on them if/when you remove the fence were missing. Also, one of the fence pieces had both outer fence posts broken, but we were able to use that piece anyway since we needed a shorter fence piece by the gate. Considering the steep discount for the used fence pieces, I think this was a worthwhile purchase. At the full price, I can't give more then 3 stars for "value-for-the-money" though.

They didn't deliver all of the products
They didn't deliver all of the products and won't refund money for the portions that they didn't send. We bought 12 sections and a gate. We only needed 10 sections with out the gate. They never sent the gate and have not provided any updates. but now = were beyond the return window and they wont return our money for the gate they didn't send and won't return the extra pieces. really horrible experience. The product is decent but not super sturdy.

Good pool fence
We bought this system (gate bought separate) to make sure our grandkids don't accidently fall in our above ground pool. It definitely improves the safety of our deck just in case we're not watching. This system can conveniently be taken down for the winter when the pool is safely covered. Good value. Installation notes: >This item is meant to be installed in concrete, but I located the posts above my desk joists and it worked just fine. >I used a little WD-40 to lubricate the plastic sleeves before tapping them in (I bent the first couple). The sleeve is snug in a wood hole (other option is to upsize the drill bit) >If you're cutting the wall to a special size, it's good to have a helper. The fabric is easy to cut, but it's a bit of a pain to clamp it back together by yourself.

The perfect pool safety fence
We needed a safety fence to protect our 4 kids from the in-ground pool. This was a highly rated(Amazon and other websites) and name brand option that I’m glad we choose. We purchased several 12-ft sections, the self closing gate and the metal drill guide. The quality of materials and ease of installation made this a 1 day install with 1 person. Whatever you do, read the instructions a couple times. There are really important details that you need to know before you start to make holes all over your concrete. The drill bit required was hard to track down in stores, but the recommended size and length is exactly what you need with the drill guide for a perfect hole. This install will definitely require a heavy duty hammer drill with an SDS style drill bit. A small handheld drill with a “hammer” option will not get you anywhere. The box for each section and the gate come with cardboard templates to make it easy to plan your route and mark where to drill Start with the gate first then follow around the pool until you meet back at the gate. The gate does have pre drilled holes everywhere you will need to attach hinges and latches and are all super accurate. Once fully Installed and properly tensioned, I feel like I could football tackle the fence and it would stop me. Several wind storms(40-50mph gusts) came thru shortly after installation and it took it like a champ.

Nice but needs support
This fencing is very easy to use and put up however, the polls that go in the ground that hold the fence up do not go deep enough and just into the ground and need to be supported with rebar. Other than that, the materials are good.

Great Fence
My husband and I are so happy we purchased this product. We adapted it a bit, but you can see from the pictures that we built a wood frame and then mounted the mess fencing onto it. This way you can see through the fencing. It is absolutely beautiful. We did not want to obstruct our view. The fencing is just what we wanted.

Crappy
We ordered 12 sections and a gate. Took forever to arrive. The gate posts were so difficult to get together we had to use a sluge hammer to help. We are still trying to get the fence itself up. We are using the guide but wow is it ever tight. Theres no way i would be able to remove a section very easily if at all. 1 of the sections already looks like its coming apart where the fabric is sewn under the screws and its been up for a day. Some of the posts have bent when trying to push them down into the holders too. My husband is a very handy/mechanical person and i think he wants to throw this fence away.
