ECHO PW-3100 Pressure Washer 3100Psi

Bought this unit June 2023, since day one this pressure washer has never run properly. Contacted the seller, not their problem and they refer you to contact the mfg….waste of tim. I reported the problem to Echo. They referred me to 3 independent repair shops they authorize to do warranty work. First one was a total joke as they only honored warranty on Echo products bought from them. The second, they want $75 up front, and depending on findings they may or may not honor warranty…contacted Echo and reported first two options, not their problem as the shops can handle as they stated. Option 3, won’t guarantee it’ll be fixed under warranty, they are backed up and short handed and could be some time before they could get around to it. So I can take it to an independent shop that will work on it, but can’t handle warranty since they’re not authorized by Echo. Contacted Echo, too bad. They won’t reimburse any work, even if fixing it should be under mfg warranty. Lesson learned, will never by an Echo product. All this adds up to $599 down the drain. Hope this helps discourage anyone from wasting their money on this POS pressure washer. Gonna see if some sucker will buy it for a hundred bucks at next yard sale. Someone might take it since it’s a good looking machine.
