Fantastic
As a bigger guy..280 pounds I was worried how this would sit in the water. Not only did I have no problems getting into the Kayak but I was faster than my 120 pound wife. I felt like I was cutting through the water like a warm knife through butter. I did buy scupper plugs for the back well of the boat and now my gear stays dry. Also, because I am tall, 6 foot 2 and I saw nothing about leg length on any reviews I will add this; At 6 foot you are completely legs straight. So it's a slight bend for us taller guys but the Kayak is stable enough that you can hang a leg over the edge if you need to.

Fantastic sit-on-top kayak. Stable and great for normal paddling or a day of fishing!
A very stable kayak for a sit-on-top. This is a great choice for those looking for a day of paddling with others and has plenty of storage for hitting the water to do some fishing. Some might think the seat is a little low for fishing and not having the option to sit higher would be a big negative, or even not having a really stable option for standing in the kayak itself. However, when I've had a higher seat on another kayak and the ability to stand... I simply just didn't do it very much at all. I also find it much easier to net a fish, place the handle of the net under my knee and then unhook the fish, it just felt more natural to do that. With larger dedicated fishing kayaks, I also found myself not being able to keep up with my wife in her Pungo 120, so moving to the Tarpon 120 was really nice. It let us get out and paddle together and keep up with one another without a problem. I also found the Tarpon to be slick out on the river and cut through water nicely, so paddling didn't take much effort to get the kayak moving nicely.I really like the firm handles in the front/back and each side, compared to the previous model which had rubber grips with nylon attaching them. The seat is very comfortable! It's one of the most under rated things when it comes to purchasing a kayak it seems. The seats for Wilderness are great and you can paddle for hours and hours and get the support needed without having a sore bottom or back afterwards. Having the option to pull the straps on each side in tight, and pull the handle upwards in the front area to bring the seat down to support your lower back firmly as well as it pulling the front of the seat up to support you knees... it's just a very well thought out seat for a sit on top that really gives the support in the right places. It's nice to have some dry storage in the front and plenty of room in the back for a milk crate, cooler or whatever you'd like to bring on your journey.Overall I would say this is a great kayak that covers a lot of bases. It lets you get out and fish comfortably and also just have a day of paddling as it cuts through the water nicely.I would highly recommend this kayak to anyone!

Excellent Fishing Kayak
Third Wilderness Systems kayak but first fishing kayak. Most of my time has been spent fishing from a Pungo 140.Love this Kayak. The 2020 Tarpon tracks well and is stable. Maneuvering is no problem too. The dry storage box is a nice feature. It fits a standard milk crate for anglers, which has been great coming from the Pungo.Note: I'm just over 200lbs. The scupper holes take on quite a bit of water. If you're fishing colder water, then invest in scupper plugs to stay dry.

Overall good kayak
Comfortable, easy to maneuver, plenty of storage. Overall good kayak, and suits our needs. I would make sure you inspect it once it's delivered. The first kayak had cardboard wrapped around the bottom and sides, and secured with plastic wrap. However, the second one was only wrapped in plastic and I discovered I good size dent in the front left side of the kayak.

Great addition to my Wilderness Systems fleet!
I got the 2020 Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 in Fossil Tan about a month ago. I have now had it out on both fresh and salt water. I have to say, I am really impressed with the kayak and the added features of the 2020 model. Coming from my Wilderness Systems Radar 135, which is SUPER stable I was a bit worried that maybe the Tarpon would be a little narrow for my needs. I was way off base. The hull design makes for a very stable kayak. I am a bigger guy at 6'2" and 250lbs. The Tarpon 120 fit me just fine. Although it does not have the storage room that my Radar 135 has, I still found that I was able to take out more gear than I really needed. With the addition of the Wildy Kayak Krate I had more than enough room. The Tarpon 120 tracks like an arrow and moves through the water effortlessly. When I launched at a local beach the swell was decent sized and I punched through a wave with ease. The Phase 3 Air Pro seat was super comfortable with all the adjustments that it has. The leg lifter adjustment was key to getting the seat in JUST the right position for hours on the water. The Plano box compartment under the seat was also nice to have so I could have essential lures close at hand. The water tight storage box was also a very cool addition. I was able to keep my cell phone, extra camera batteries, and my DJI Osmo Pocket camera safe and dry without worry of getting them wet. There is plenty of gear track to mount accessories like rod holders,GPS, Action Cams or fish finder head units. The rear tank well is molded to fit the Wildy kayak krate and that was also a nice feature. The orange accents on the Fossil tan look really good and I am planning on adding a set of orange flush mount rod holders made by Pelican Sport, that match the Wildy Orange accents perfectly.I highly recommend the 2020 Tarpon 120 to anyone looking for a (very)well priced recreation kayak or anyone looking to add another fishing kayak to their fleet. I may even pick up a Tarpon 105 model for my kids. Wilderness Systems REALLY did a great job of updating an iconic kayak with the 2020 version.Zachariah Clift
