Can I customize my own straw? I need orange flavor

At this time you cannot. We also do not have orange as a flavor. We continue to grow our SORBOS offerings by listening to your requests. We currently carry Strawberry, Chocolate, Lime, Lemon, Neutral, Ginger, and we recently released Vanilla and Coffee. Be on the lookout for Apple and Cinnamon around Summer 2023. We're also working on a possible smaller count box and a new mix variety. We've noted your request for orange! Whats the nutrition information for these?

Great question! All flavors have the following amounts per serving, where one serving is 1 edible straw: 30 calories, 8g carbohydrates (3%), 8g sugars. It is not a significant source of sodium, total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron. 2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice. These along with the listed ingredients for each flavor can be found on Amazon for each flavor's product listing, where they are sold individually in a 200 count box like this variety pack one.

What exactly IS their taste? Is there any difference in taste between the different varieties?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a difference in flavor between the four flavors we received.  They do taste like the flavors they are intended to taste like if you chew on them (lemon, lime, strawberry, chocolate).  They just get kind of sticky and messy after a few sips and after a little while, they lose their rigidity and become floppy, gelatinous tubes.  Me and my kids weren't thrilled with them but I think younger kids would likely love them.  It's a great idea and novelty, just not great for sticking in a drink you're going to nurse for a good 15-20 minutes.  Better for something you will drink right away and then for kids who might munch on the straw for the novelty of it.

How well do these stand up thicker liquid such as a milkshake??

They actually do better in thicker liquid. We usually put them in frozen daiquiris with alcohol and it takes about 30 to 40 minutes for them to start breaking down. BTW they taste better when they start to get soggy lol.
