Unbelievably nice! Just awesome about everything. This will be my first impression and initial review, I'll update it when I go camping here in the next few weeks for ice retention.But if you've been shopping for coolers you already know the stellar performance of Kong Coolers. Every thing on the build of this cooler screams heavy duty and purpose built. The handles are really solid and have a rubberized grip, carrying it empty is comfortable. It's a 70 quart, loading it with ice and drinks, expect it to get heavy. I like how the handle can be changed out if somehow they break. Massive drain plugs on each side with a large gasket, no way those are leaking. The latches were the selling point for me. One handed operation, easy to use and a solid tight seal when latched. They too appear to be replaceable if they somehow break. The gasket on the lid is really nice, also replaceable if it wears out. When opening and closing the lid it has a nice vacuum feel to it as a fridge door does.Yes, the cutting tray/ divider did come with the cooler, however it does not come with the accessory to mount it to the side handle, no worries.The foot pads are huge and has an incredible grip to them, on my vinyl floor you really have to give it effort for it to slide around.Overall I'm extremely impressed and highly recommend this cooler.

Over the next few minutes, you are about to embark on one of the most joyous reviews you have yet to ever read.Whilst reading, I must warn you your hands will be sweating, your body may start to tremble, and your pleasure centers will be so flooded with excitement you're going to need a. A life preserver, and b. More cow bell.But fear NOT, my fellow rotomolded cooler enthusiasts, for this is merely a natural reaction and is not life threatening in any way (EMT student in training, so trust me when I say this).One word, four letters. KONG! Can you even think of a better name for such a robust and all around sexy cooler? Answer: NO! Im sure we're all familiar with Peter Jacksons iconic recreation of the Hollywood Blockbuster "King Kong" and the shear strength displayed in the film (which just so happens to translate directly to the kong cooler itself). However, what you might not know, is King Kong himself actually uses this cooler. Why? Simple. Mr. Kong is a staggering 25ft tall, or 7 times the height of an actual Silverback Gorilla. Given the height of Mr. Kong, this leads one to believe that he weighs a whopping 50 TONS! Now what kind of cooler could possibly support someone or, someTHING that weighs that much? You guessed it. KONG! (And/or a Samsquantch)Now, I know I've been talking a lot about durability and that's great and all, but how about the ice retention? Well let me tell you first hand, this ain't anything like your Peepaws old cooler from 'nam that could barely keep a pack of lucky strikes cold. Nope! Kong is the real deal!In the scorching hot dessert here in Arizona there is a constant struggle to try and combat the blazing sun and more importantly, keep your food/drinks cool while out camping/boating/hunting/etc. Im here to tell you to look no more. This bad Larry held ice on a 10 day Samsquantch hunt for the FULL 10 days! *Skiiirrrrrrrrt* Did someone say, 10 days?! You're darn skippy. 10P.s. its August and currently 119 degrees out. However, I kept my cooler in shade and primed my cooler with dry ice.I know what youre thinking and the answer is, yes, there are some downfalls to this cooler. Among other things, it is, dare I say, too nice?? If you look up the statistics for the amount of Lamborghinis that are stolen in the U.S. each year it is astounding, and for good reason, Lamborghini is the creme de la creme of the automobile industry and I believe the same principle may apply to Kong Coolers. One might feel compelled to steal something this nice after seeing that eye watering Kong logo glistening on the front of the cooler like the good old red, white, and blue flying high at a the Daytona 500. Additionally, the cooler comes with a cutting board/divider which is YUGE! Unfortunately, you have to buy the cutting board attachment separately to actually attach the board to the side, but I'd personally give my left arm just to see my cooler evolve like he was meant to be.All in all, couldn't have asked for a better, American made, King Kong endorsed, rugged, yet alluring, rotomolded Cooler. Exceeded my expectations, absolutely amazing and definitely recommend this cooler, absolutely amazing with holding ice and worth every penny. Went on a overland expedition for 5 days and didn't have to refill the ice and still had ice left over, super happy with the buy!!!

Bought for a 4 day camping trip, worked amazing. Even if it did not perform well, the cutting board options make it worth it. But check the YouTube ice tests, this usually comes out on top. We have a smaller Yeti, so I don’t have an apples to apples comparison. Loaded with ice and food, still had ice when we got through the trip (4days) and 2 days after we got home. Opened and closed who knows how many times. Just fits inside a Grumman canoe.

So, now I want to get the 50 as well. This cooler is very well made, the accessories are great and the service is awesome. I highly recommend Kong coolers...No they haven't given me anything to do this review, but Kong, if you want to, I'll be glad to accept ; ) All joking aside, this is the best cooler I've ever owned. I already trashed all of the other crappy coolers I own.

This cooler is great. Large enough for ice and food. Held ice during a recent camping trip in 100 degree weather for the entire trip. The latched work great the whole family can make them work. No struggling to open or relatch.

This cooler has worked great for us. We go to Lake Powell all the time and this cooler has kept food cold for days in 100 degree weather. It has held ice better than any other cooler I have owned and better then any cooler that my siblings have. It's very well made and very durable. The top latches are the best I have ever seen on a cooler. Best cooler I have ever bought.

Very disappointed. Ice blocks melted after 4 days and were even warm
